RAW is back to two hours... tomorrow. Tonight, live from Washington DC, it's the usual THREE HOURS, and as there's no Brock Lesnar this week, looks like it'll be more of a chore than usual.
Lesnar was attacked three on one by WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, Kane and Joey Mercury at the end of last week's show. It appears as though Rollins has his backup back together, even though Triple H wants Seth to prove himself on his own against Lesnar at Battleground on July 19th. Rollins also managed to get a victory over Dean Ambrose on SmackDown last week, and tonight, the two meet again in tag team action, with Ambrose teaming with Roman Reigns against Rollins and Kane.
However, Reigns may be preoccupied, as Bray Wyatt is messing with him at every turn. Last week on RAW, Wyatt got Reigns counted out when he made it look like he had kidnapped Reigns' daughter. On SmackDown, Wyatt placed a defaced photo of Reigns in The Big Dog's vest, with the words "Anyone But You" on it. Reigns got so angry, Kane kicked him out of the building. Will Reigns be focused on the tag team main event, or will the New Face of Fear still be playing in his mind?
Ryback and The Big Show are battling it out over the Intercontinental Title, with each one leaving the other laying show by show. Problem is, their match at Battleground is a three way with The Miz, who watches amused as his opponents weaken each other. Will the former WWE Champion make his presence felt tonight?
John Cena and Kevin Owens are getting ready for their US Title match at Battleground... though Owens also has his NXT Title match against Finn Bálor in Tokyo at The Beast In The East to worry about. This being said, Cena hasn't had a match since Money in the Bank when Owens attacked him after Cena's win. Is Cena 100% with three weeks to go?
Rusev appears to have a new ally following his split with Lana, in the form of another blonde, Summer Rae. With Lana covorting with Dolph Ziggler, Summer has told Rusev that "Lana's not worth it"... does this mean that Ziggler and Lana are in trouble?
Goodness knows what's up with the Bella Twins. Are they babyfaces? Are they heels? Although the Divas locker room is supposedly united behind the Bellas against Paige, that didn't stop Naomi and Tamina Snuka wrestling them last week. Paige was away last week getting ready for Tough Enough, will she be back tonight, and will she have someone by her side to combat Brie and Nikki?
All this, and the game of what gets cut out of the Tuesday two hour version, tonight from 8/7c on USA!
