There was an idea of Reddit to begin the movie during the credits with Deadpool telling the audience to silence their phones (with some language mixed in) and if they brought kids, they're morons.

JUST WATCHED THE TRAILER...AND HOLY GAWD THAT CAME COURTESY OF FOX? I aint believing it.
BVS got serious competition just with this movie and being hard R this could be a huge game changer if it makes real bank which from the trailer I have no doubt it will.

Just watched the trailer.
Nice quick little Green Lantern shot early on.
Laughed out loud at the TJ Miller stuff.
This could be very, very good.

Comic book movie different don't you think Plenty of Hard Rated R comic book films in the past did well in the past like Kingsmen, Blade, Wanted, V for Vendetta, Sin City, 300, Watchmen, Kick-Ass, Spawn, Constantine, etc. Hell I would even throw in Mad Max Fury Road for looking like a giant comic book film that has a similar primary audience. Plus outside of maybe The Watchmen, they don't have the same big name value as Deadpool with the same sizable cult loyal fanbase. Also I'd imagine Deadpool wouldn't be a big bloated budget film like at most a 50 million dollar movie. I don't know I think a smaller scaled R-Rated comic book film is a lot less riskier then a big 100-200 million PG-13 comic book movie featuring an obscure hero like Ant-Man.

Considering I constantly buy Deadpool clothes at friggen Walmart, I am sure he has enough cachet to do something in theaters.

Ooof. Swing and a miss for me.
I'm done with Ryan Reynolds RyanReyonldsing at 24fps and putting him in a red suit doesn't change that for me. I'm glad it makes deadpool fans happy, but it just looks like Van Wilder Murders People.

No beef, just doesn't look interesting. I 100% agree that it seems true to source though. It's more Reynolds not really acting. He's basically always the same guy in his movies and this time it lines up well with the character he's playing. Which, like I said is cool for big time Deadpool fans, but as a movie (as opposed to an adaptation/fan service) its not really anything special.

He was just in a movie earlier this year (The Voices) where he plays someone who is absolutely nothing like his normal character.

I thought he really showed some depth as a performer in The Nines, but Deadpool and the bulk of his filmography? Largely the same performance over and over again. That's not even on him probably. Type casting is rough, but its how they get work.

Stan Lee's best cameo yet. Makes total sense if you're a Striperella fan.
