Lesnar is wrestling tomorrow and Balor is facing Owens, plus we're also getting Y2eyebrows on the card, so WWE is sticking it on the Network, which is brilliant idea. It looks like WWE might do this again this year...
- We noted before that WWE is planning to do more live specials on the WWE Network in the next year, similar to the July 4th special from Tokyo. In an update, some of those events would air live or on a tape delay. It was described to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter as broadcasting live events as opposed to a special major events production.
Also, based on Suplex City t-shirts that WWE is making for local markets, Brock Lesnar may be working WWE live events on August 8th in Sydney, Australia and on November 6th in London. We don't have confirmation that Lesnar is working those dates but his new contract reportedly has more dates per year than the original deal he was under because he got a pay raise.

This could be fantastic. Perhaps Lesnar could beat up Ziggler in Australia and then face Cesaro in London? Either way, Brock there or not, extra WWE live events is always good. Does this mean that the televised and aired house shows then become 'canon'? I know that sounds stupid but like would this events actually matter, be used in video packages and be important in any way?

1 televised big house show per month with interesting pairings (appearances by Brock, Jericho, NXT guys) would be a great idea and pretty attractive for hardcore fans

I never watched Tribute to the Troops, isn't that just HBK and HHH, two 40 year old men, dressed up in neon green and acting like teenagers for a whole show? Or maybe I'm wrong. Yeah pretty much. All babyfaces win every match. All matches are like 5-7 mins long and basically so nobody is injured overseas. Lots of video's of the wrestlers hanging out with the troops while some troops talk about there service and being away from family and thanking WWE. The main event may feature some cool gimmicks and props like wrestlers coming out of a tank or having a gimmick main event like a bootcamp streetfight with the babyface wearing camo, camo face paint, and army helmets or some shit. It's really just fan service and nothing more. Like the troops are probably more excited meeting the wrestlers and being on TV rather then the show itself. I still have no f***ing idea why they didn't have the US Title change hands in the first Tribute to the Troops show when Cena beat Big Show in a non title match. |

They have a network thats on 24 hours with unlimited time and space, they should be doing stuff like this all the time. Plus it pops house show numbers as the fans will be excited to be a part of a "filmed" show
