Someone should sit next to JBL and just scream, "Call the match" at him all night long.

Welp, there's goes O'Neil's push I have a feeling Vince McMahon invited Titus to see his Bear Skin Rug backstage immediately.

Three pages in and no one has made a wise ass comment about the OP's misspelling of appreciation?
First no one had any pics of Kevin Owens' gross armpits and now this?

Titus is a big enough dude to not take JBL's shit and can actually get away with busting his balls. What's John going to do about it? This isn't like pushing around Paul London or Kendrick.

Sure but Titus shouldn't be as good at "calling the action". I see your point, but of course he's not good at commentarty. He wants JBL who does it every week to do it better. But Titus's job IS to talk, whether it is commentary or promos, and tonight not only was he horrible, but he killed a match by trying to take down JBL for doing his job how he's asked to. I don't see how Titus can kill a match when the Commentary was more interested in the Car on the ramp already.
Titus was in the right man, Commentary does this too many times and it makes everyone in the ring feel less important. The Commentary was basically putting a destroyed Car above a Tag Team Match and the biggest feud in the division currently in priority, multiple times, and Titus had enough of it and honestly I commend him for it.
Japan's show, showed how the Commentary should be, and I'm just glad someone finally said something, and FINALLY SHUT JBL UP.

JBL: Seth is going to catch a Beast at Battleground.
Titus: Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, & Big E are going to catch one at Battleground as well don't you forget to mention that JBL.
JBL: *quiet*
Titus: What you don't agree?
JBL: Na I don't know what they are gonna catch.
Titus: Well your sitting there being silent like you don't agree.
JBL: Well agree Seth Rollins is running out of the ring....
Titus: But we're not talking about Seth Rollins we are talking about the Lucha Dragons against New Day.
JBL: I'm not talking about Seth Rollins i am talking about Battleground and talking about the $55,000 Cadillac just got destroyed.
Titus: Well a $55,000 Cadillac ain't got nothing to do with this match between the Lucha Dragons and the New Day. We are sitting here talking about this match thats going on. Talk about the match. Talk about us.
Thats how it started it out and then it went to JBL making the comment about not knowing how to count in University of Florida and then Titus talked about his degrees and said what do you have JBL and he even went on about explaining New Days academic success and tieing that into the fact that the New Day are very smart when working together

I need to watch this. If he genuinely pissed JBL off, he'll have made a fan of my girlfriend for life.

When Titus said that they should be able to beat the New Day JBL said "You know there is 3 of them right, they had math at Florida University right?" Titus said "I have two degrees how many you got?" Which lead to silence by JBL then Titus saying "Yeah that's what I thought." I decided to look this up. Titus has a BA in Sociology and something else (anyone know?) and served as student body president in his senior year at the University of Florida. JBL has a degree in ancient history from Abilene Christian University. Titus's other degree is a Masters in Administrative Education. www.greensboro.com/prowlers-bullard-makes-bold-impression-renaissance-man-thaddeus-bullard-is/article_d5a2fca0-f988-5371-8aab-f4ef0e76043a.htmlI'll save my opinions for after I see the video, but save for Owens vs. Balor, my favorite part of Beast in the East was the distinct lack of JBL talking out of the side of his ass.

I found it hypocritical, because Titus's yelling completely distracted from the match, as he was owning JBL for not calling the match. But during that he actually called the match and kept going back and forth between calling the match and burying the commentary team True. It was funny, and JBL getting destroyed is for the greater good. But, Titus partly calling the match while yelling at the other announcers didn't accomplish the goal of putting the action in the ring over either.

I f***ing loved it and probably not for the same reason most of you did. JBL tried to come for Titus by saying he wasn't Ivy League, like his education wasn't good enough. Not only did Titus school him on the particulars of his education, he talked about the education of every black man out there regardless of them being kayfabe enemies. I would imagine JBL has said something suspect either around Titus or to him directly and tonight Titus let his ass have it! It got hella real entirely too fast. f***ing beautiful *sniff* Titus. Dad of the year and my personal hero. All of this. I don't care if Titus was hypocritical or not, that grilling was a long time coming, and it was served fantastically.

When Titus started talking about Big-E having 'Triple F' syndrome near the start of the match, I REALLY didn't think he would make such a u-turn on commentary by the end of the match.
"Hot tag to Sin Cara. I'll do your job for you JBL, since you don't wanna do it."

He took it personally, understandably, but he didn't really add to the match or do a better job than JBL. I think those are two different things.

But that doesn't really matter as it's not Titus' job. He is a wrestler and was out there to promote PTP's rivalry with New Day. It was JBL's job to commentate and he was doing poorly at it. He got called out and when he started acting an ass Titus decided to step up. And all in between reading JBL for filth.

That what we WANT his job to be. The job his boss wants him to do, the boss the director of the show wants him to do is thr "ha ha Maggle" crap he does week after week. If it wasn't he would be gone by now. But he's not. You know who was pulled from commentary? Regal. Why? Because he called matches and that's not what they want.
