I like that they threw the Wolves attack in there early. We would all be expecting it if they held it off for later, so having it happen this quickly and completely out of the blue was a better shock.

Holy shit, that was a great episode. As brutal and violent as this show gets. Thoughts:
1: Rambo Carol is back and damn, did she take over
2: Morgan is a badass and I'm gonna love his interactions with Carol
3: Glad to see Carl also holding his own
4: Ron is an even bigger idiot than Father Gabriel
5: Great to see Aaron, but damn is he gonna feel bad for leading the Wolves to Alexandria
6: Wonder how turtle tastes. Hell, how did she even eat it?
7: WTF with Holly???

The Wolves attack was not quick. Last season we saw that they got the backpack with the pictures. We saw the people they killed, the trucks full of people. It was perfect. I didn't expect it and I was so happy. I like to be surprised.

People were expecting the Wolves to show up as a midseason finale, and that would have made it much more predictable. I thought it was handled magnificently. The fact that we still haven't seen the full-on Wolfpack gathered and as a collective unit is what I like the most. Neither the viewer nor the residents of Alexandria have any idea as to exactly how big this group is and how big of a threat they're going to be. Also, I'm really looking forward to seeing how Morgan inadvertently allowing the one Wolf to grab a gun is going to play out in the future.

I'm trying to figure out if he has done so much killing and burning of bodies, that he's lost his mind, OR, he really is present and thinks that his way of thinking will keep him safe. I don't know. But letting those few go, and allowing one to take a gun is not a good sign. Its putting the group at risk. I hope he doesn't turn into another Tyrese. This episode really had me on the edge of my seat. I like that they didn't do the "standard walking dead build up". I love the show, but the needing half the season to build up thing doesn't always work. I like that they just dove right in! It was exciting and unnerving. Now I want to watch it again lol.

They said it didn't sound juicy enough for the staff to have gone through his head. I hope he killed him and not just knocked him out.

Great episode don't get me wrong, but does anyone think they rushed the whole "Wolves Attack Alexandria" plot? It would of been nice for a later episode this first half. Not really. They made a much bigger impact than their comic book counterparts the Scavengers. The fallout of their invasion and the truck's horn presumably leading the horde of walkers into Alexandria could be more than enough for the rest of the season.

Kinda felt that he killed him and started opening up to killing And him and carol passing In the street was a sign of carol no longer being all that good with killing and Morgan being on with it Kinda a passing of the torch

This is the same Morgan who had to clear his area before leaving and we have no idea what he did or what happened in the time he left the area till now. Does the Wolves attack remind anyone of the Governor's first attack in the comic

Does the Wolves attack remind anyone of the Governor's first attack in the comic If you're comparing them as failed first attempts, sure. But the Governor's initial attack didn't leave anyone dead. At least anyone from the prison. He ended up killing his own constituents. As for what's going on now, I love it. But I just hope the entire half-season doesn't revolve around removing the Walkers. I imagine next week may focus on the continuing effort, while in two weeks we see the fallout from the Wolves attack.

That episode was awesome. Loved how the attack came completely out of nowhere. It was like, OK housewife Carol is cooking BAM! Girl gets hit by axe, guy gets petrol bombed, the shit hits the fan.

Alright.. great episode A very action packed episode with hardly any Zombies in the episode at all.. Apart from at the beginning and the odd few that got re animated at the end... Oh yeah and the Truck driver. A painful reminder that the Walkers aren't the only danger out there in this universe. - I enjoyed the JSS beginning, Nice to see her being all helpless to begin with but very quickly adapt, Felt sorry for the Tortoise but I get it. You do what you can to survive. - Carol is still a badarse, blending in with the enemy to take them out.. She sort of reminded me of the Dude that gets attacked by the dogs in the background of the Destroyed city stage in Mortal Kombat X. - Morgan is a great character but this whole refusing to kill people kind of annoys me, especially where you are in a situation where you Kill or get Killed. - That horn is obviously going to attract a big arse herd, this shitstorm has only just begun. 2 Episodes in and 2 great episodes. Season 6 is off to a good start

Ok plain and simple, I did not understand the "A" Carol looked at and started to cry about.

- Morgan is a great character but this whole refusing to kill people kind of annoys me, especially where you are in a situation where you Kill or get Killed. I agree. I facepalmed when after half the town has been destroyed, people have been firebombed, harmless women hacked to pieces with knives and axes he's moaning about Carol killing someone. Made him seem like an idiot.

I wonder if the Wolves that Morgan let get away come back later on with {Spoiler}Negan? This whole attack seemed like an obvious build up for Negan and The Saviors.

Seeing that Morgan let a group of them flee, I don't think it's the last we'll see of them and with {Spoiler}Lucille and Negan approaching, I can't see them blowing their load with another 'war' with a group of outsiders when All Out War is drawing near.

Makes sense but Kirkman is always under pressure to deliver drama and action. So a mini-feud that stretches until the break with the wolves then follow up with a teese of the folks in your spoiler, would be deleted Bering on both.
