What happened to them anyway? They were sorta cool in a way, and heh heh they were named "Orgy", I was thinking of them the other day for some reason, that style of music is all..popular now (new-new wave as I call it), so I'm suprised they haven't bothered with some big comeback.
I didn't even know they had a third album till recently.
Where'd they go?

It's a band made up of producers anyway, so Orgy has always been kindof a side-side project for them. Basically they just reconvene when they have nothing to do and feel like making some music, rather than crafting it.

I sorta like Orgy. I have all 3 of their CDs. The 3rd is not as good as the first 2.
EDIT: Yeah, they are busy with side projects. But they are still a band.

I remember the Blue Monday cover, but that's all.
Did they have other singles?

Wait, they had a 3rd CD? Holy crap...
I'd consider myself a fan of Orgy... I wouldn't complain if their music came on, and I might put "Stitches" on the jukebox at the bar if I ran across it...

I remember the Blue Monday cover, but that's all. Did they have other singles? Off the album "Candyass" they had the single Stitches, which did pretty well. Then, from "Vapor Transmission" they released "Fiction (Dreams in Digital)" which did okay, too. There last album was independently released. Jay Gordon, the lead singer, owns his own indie record label.

No kidding. I had no idea those guys had that much of a career. Yeah, they seemed to be a pretty big thing in the late 90s. I think their deal with Reprise records fell through before they finally released the third CD "Punk Static Paranoia" independently, and with no marketing or anything behind it. They have plenty of catchy tunes, though.

I saw them last year. One of my friends is a big fan of theirs, and i liked their first 2 cds.
The show was kind of "eh".
They played alot of songs off Punk Static Paranoia (which by the way, is the worst album title of all f***ing time). I mean, i know they were touring for that album, but it sucks. No one in the crowd cared for those songs.
Whatever though. Orgy was just a fad band. They had a couple of years in the limelight, had a few good songs, and were gone.

I saw them live back in '99 at this outdoor concert deal in Des Moines. I'll never forget that set because this chick I had met earlier in the day at this hardcore wrestling ring they had...well...she wanted on my shoulders to get a better look since her fiance was...well...skin and bones basically...and this chick had all the meat in the right places...so I take a look at the shadow we were casting and she was pulling her shirt up and resting them milk bags on my head. M-I-C...K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E!
They really didn't sound like much live...sounds to me like in the studio, Jay Gordon's voice was taken down an octive or so...but still...that's what I'll always remember from that show.
