I remember reading once that Juventud Gurerra and Bob Orton used to travel together back during the Mexicools days. What other ridiculous pairings have there been on the road?

Most famously - for getting busted - Jim Duggan and Iron Sheik in mid-1980's.
Think about how nonsensical their conversations could have been.

I'm pretty sure that Michael Hayes said on a Legends of Wrestling episode that he travelled with Lex Luger for a while in WCW. Seems like an unexpected pairing to me. But then, from what else Hayes and the others said about Lex, having anyone travel with him might be unexpected.

I think that I read about Sheiky traveling with the Freebirds during his short run in WCW as well.

Hornswoggle, Daivari, The Great Khali, and Mark Henry all traveled together from 2006-2007

I imagine Hornswoggle sits behind Great Khali or in front so Khaili gets tons of leg room either way and Daivari drives giving Mark Henry the most overall comfortable leg room.

Or Hornswoggle rides around on Khali's back in a backpack, like Yoda or Master Blaster. But when Khali goes to stretch his legs pressing his back against the seat, he'll crush Hornswoggle to death. Hell that means less comfort for Khali. Unless Hornswoggle sits on his shoulders

I always found it weird that Randy Orton used to travel with Santino.
I once read that in Memphis, The Rock traveled with Jamie Dundee, I want to see a recreation of that car ride.

Not traveling buddies but I've read that Meng and Norman Smiley were drinking buddies in WCW.

Wasn't there a picture of John Cena and Funaki in a car circulating at one time?

Many years back, I saw Orton, Masters, and Dan Rodman riding together into the arena.

Ryback and Daniel Bryan were apparently traveling companions. Seems odd to me, anyway.
I think Moolah and Greg Valentine traveled with Sheik and Duggan as well. Sheik (in)famously threw Moolah out of the car because she was complaining about them smoking the "wicked weed".
