I really liked the NXT Diva introductions and brawl and even Nikki Bella's opening promo but Dear God when Stephanie's McMahons music hit I just cringed really hard fearing the worst. You can just sense the insecurities of Stephanie when she went all Alpha on Nikki wearing the highest of high heels, and hunching over her like if she was looking down and trying make herself big as possible. Like that was the most Triple H moment I ever seen from somebody who isn't Triple H. Like Dear God.
Like one thing Vince is really underrated at is these kinds of segments when he's cutting into a heel wrestler and offering them there comeuppances. Like I never get the sense he's flexing his nuts going alpha on them, no he imagines to act like a cheerful trolling dick when he undercuts somebody before he delivers the comeuppance.
Seriously that's no way to respect The Lioness Divas Champion

I loved every single second of it and this is coming from someone who hates when Stephanie does this. For some reason however with Nikki? I couldn't stop smiling.

Outside if the weird lioness thing you keep pushing I agree.
Steph was being a fiery baby face. Great job by one of the biggest villains in the company.

I found it insulting when she's supposed to be the evil boss revolting against a record breaking divas title run she originally was behind. Same with Triple H and Seth. Idiotic daughter and doofus son in law ladies and gentlemen. You were warned.

I love when things like that happen, when a despised villain turns to an even more despicable one and is all "I may be an a-hole, but YOU are just the worst"
Like when Regal went off on Trips over Eugene.

Anyone who even goes near a woman in this company lately seems to lose track of their face/heel alignment. Also explains the Ziggler/Rusev thing.

Nikki is such an unsympathetic character, it's hard to mind. Even people who root for her probably have to admit her character is a terrible person.

It's this kind of character consistency that sometimes makes RAW feel like a mid-90s Spiderman comic.
Still, that NXT segment.....wow.

..I'm just glad that Stephanie is FINALLY where she needs to be and that is involved in divas storylines talking down to Divas rather than talking down to the male talent like Seth and making them look like sissies.

Nikki became champion because of Stephanie and The Authority. It made no sense.
All it looked like was Steph coming out and endorsing NXT. "Don't forget. These NXT people you like so much? YOU'RE WELCOME. Selfie time!"

Not watching much Raw these days, but just started playing the Review A Raw from last night and it opens with Stephanie's promo introducing the NXT girls.
All I can say is good lord this woman.
Why was that even necessary (especially if they're going to be babyfaces, unless one of them turns heel right away and it's a double cross)? These girls would receive a pop for showing up on their own without the Stephanie confusion added to it. And how does it even make sense? Nikki helped her screw over her own sister at SummerSlam and now Stephanie will be the one to bring her down and put her in her place... yeesh. Not to mention it goes against The Authority's initial objective of backing the established stars and "name brands" while holding down upstart talent that are getting over with the crowds. Though Steph and Brie on the same side would be even more awkward for storyline purposes I suppose.
Undertaker famously said we forgot that we were just fans and maybe we did, but I say they forgot how to tell logical stories and how to be effective heels.

Seriously that's no way to respect The Lioness Divas Champion With Vince, as I remember it, there was always some consistency and reason for it. Like a heel would be sucking up, they'd all be getting along great, then they'd make a mistake, piss him off, THEN he punishes them. Like if Nikki had been talking to Steph, and talks about herself as the most dominant woman in the company, Steph is like "what?" Walks away, then later comes out and says "Well, you're the biggest, baddest woman in the company, face all these women at once" and introduce the NXT divas. Have an instigating moment, not just randomness.

I like that it happened to the Bella Twins (who are completely unlikeable), but still don't understand why they couldn't just have one of the new women (Charlotte, Becky, Sasha) be the one to come out and cut that promo about women in sports and mention that NXT women have 'revolutionised' womens wrestling. I just don't understand why Stephanie had to be the one who spoke for them
Also, I don't like that Sasha has been put with Naomi. She deserves so much better than that

Have an instigating moment, not just randomness. Yeah some lead up would've been nice. Without it it's just a power trip. The cool kids love this so I love it too and claim responsibility in kayfabe. Just...man I miss authority figure heels that behaved that authority figure weasels. Seth Rollins is scared of everything and they always imply that if H or Steph got in the ring they'd still dominate everyone.

Agree on the Steph stuff, why not have, I dunno, Paige, the person who's been leading this little crusade, bring out backup in a total logical manor, have Naomi/Tamina hint at another person and reveal Sasha in a few weeks?

I chalk that segment and promo from Stephanie up to same section as the nWo run-in at Mania. 'This makes no f***ing sense but I will pop for it regardless.'

I can only hope this leads to a Nikki/Stephanie "Competitor leaves WWE TV forever" match, where both of them disappear from the show for all eternity.

Since Nikki is hated, apparently it's all good for Alpha Female Stephanie to come out the ring to display her dominance and neuter her while parading out the NXT Divas folks love for brownie points.
But the moment she goes in the 4 Horsewomen to kill their shine (And you know it's going to happen because no one is Queen Bitch in WWE but Steph), the Net will revolt and call for her head. Just like the sins of HHH are forgiven because of NXT, folks who called her a ballbusting harpy will start praising her.
