He'll fit right in with the inflammatory assholes that plague the airwaves on political talk radio. That's for damn sure.

Colin Cowherd may have been the worst person on ESPN. Skip Bayless and Stephan A Smith are both close but luckily they share a show so are possible to avoid. Sports talk radio is not in a good place right now. Outside of Mike and Mike I am not sure I like any of the national hosts.

I haven't paid attention to ESPN in years, but I remember Cowherd pissing me off years ago when he want on a rant along the lines of "If you make less than 6 figures, I don't give a shit about you. I do my show for the person too busy making real money to listen for any length of time."

My hate for Cowturd came during the whole Texas Tech/Mike Leach situation. Him and ESPN demonized him because Craig James was a talking head on that network.

I only heard about his idiotic DR/baseball players comment on ATH yesterday. Because of course ESPN is gonna treat that like a top story.

I don't understand the joy in his leaving. If you don't like what he says than why would you listen? If you listened to let him get heat with his shtick than you are his mark.

See I can deal with someone saying silly shit tongue in cheek but the problem with ESPN is they all say it serious as a heartattack and it would make me feel stupid if I still watched those I despise.

Colin Cowherd's comments about Dominicans are really representative of who he is: a classist asshole who thinks educational opportunity and intelligence are 1:1. It really fits in with the whole "This show is only for people who make 6 figures" mentality.

The "shockjock/zookeeper" concept in broadcasting really needs to die a overdue death.

Give Papi his own show and ESPN Radio will become infinitely better.

I disliked Tim Brando and when he was on Sirius I'd just change the station and listen to music while he was on. Now he is gone and Chris Childress is in his place I'm good

Damn idiot wanted to go out in a blaze of glory, didn't he?
ESPN acknowledged severing ties with him on the radio last night.

If I thought for a second he believed that crap I would, well respect is to strong a word, but at least he would believe it. There is no doubt in my mind that he just says these things. He's the worst kind of troll.

Pedro Martinez's response to Cowturd's remarks? “I’m sorry. He needs to get to my level to answer him,” Pedro said. “I’m in the Hall of Fame.”
