This thread is for movies that would otherwise be forgotten if it weren't for one particularly memorable moment, scene, sequence, or performance. So many posts are missing this point. There's a big difference between the most memorable moments from memorable films, and forgettable movies with highly memorable moments. Jaws? Aliens? Jurassic Park? Rocky IV? Psycho? Citizen Kane? These are all successful films with huge followings. Even Jurassic World, which isn't exactly a classic, is the fifth-highest grossing film of all time - do people really think it's going to become some forgotten relic of cinema?

Streets of Fire (1984) - Ever hear the song "I Can Dream About You"? That's pretty much the only thing anyone remembers from this bizarre Escape from New York-meets-West Side Story hodge-podge, despite featuring before-they-were-stars performances from Diane Lane, Willem Defoe, and Rick Moranis. (That is, unless you live in Japan, where this movie was popular enough to partially inspire the video games Final Fight and Streets of Rage.) I dunno, most people I know who are into Jim Steinman remember the movie well because of 'Nowhere Fast' and 'Tonight Is What It Means To Be Young', and outside of that circle, the first thing to come out of people's mouths is "creepy Willem DeFoe".

I can't remember much about The Seven Year Itch apart from the Marilyn Monroe dress scene.

Yeah, I missed the point of the thread completely. I need to read more than just the title of threads.
I'll try to come up with something better.
Beyond the Forest would have been forgotten to time had it not been for the line 'What a dump!' spoken by Bette Davis which would later be re-used in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, though the characters couldn't remember what movie it was from.
Okay. I did it right this time!

Okay. I did it right this time! I dunno, my immediate association with that movie is as a miserable exclamation point to Davis' run with WB, and a signal that a phase of her career was over (if Bette Davis was CM Punk, and in a lot of ways Bette Davis was CM Punk, this is her Royal Rumble 2014).

But will Punk's UFC debut be his All About Eve? Will Punk have a What Ever Happened To Baby Jane moment eventually? And your post is pretty humorous. Bette Davis was the CM Punk of Hollywood's Golden Age!

Oh Punk's What Ever Happened To Baby Jane/Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte will be spectacular.

Lifeforce (1985) - Might as well have been titled "Naked Space Vampire," since that's pretty much all anyone remembers about it. The main theme music was awesome and it had Patrick Stewart in it.Aalso Peter Firth with hair was the star (before Spooks). C'mon .. I ... mmm naked French space vampire ... I need to watch that movie again.

4 pages and not one person mentions the end of Usual Suspects? There is basically nobody remembering the movie at all except the ending.
