I can't be disappointed at something I knew would happen. I'll go with Seth Rollins vs Dean Ambrose MITB.

The Royal Rumble I was expecting a shit show and I got it. It was bad but at least it made a spectacle out of it.
This was pretty much a non match.

Was Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins really a bad match? Or was it a bad ending? Because the match was largely the same as every other Lesnar singles match for the better part of the last year: Lesnar dominates early and often, throws a million suplexes, his opponent gets in a flash of offense only to be cut off almost instantly.

The Rumble.
It's ridiculous that anyone is picking Seth/Brock over that.

Little drama, Rollins walks out with less stock than before, he vanishes, and there's no official finish.

At least the Rumble had an ending. Might have been unsatisfying but it existed. Tonight was bad insanity with no end in sight.

The 2015 Royal Rumble is in the running for the worst booked match of all time. Even if you wanted Roman to win, there could not be a worse way for him to win the Rumble. That match is awful.

The most recent usually wins these reaction polls, obviously. Cena's had 3 worst matches of the year in 2015 alone off of polls taken 1 hour after the match.
The Rumble was boring, upsetting and ultimately demoralizing for many fans. This was an angle after Brock practically murdered someone. No, really, where's Seth Rollins?

2015 Rumble is still the winner. Putting aside Roman winning, with not even The Rock being able to save him, but the soul-crushing ways the Local Men eliminated the guys people actually like. Just bad.

And that last bit is another reason why I hated this match, the champ, chickenshit or not, is gone. Not even a "he ran past me in fear" or anything from the announcers, just flat doesn't matter. Hell we didn't even a DQ or NC from the ref who I guess is in witness protection now. Don't get me wrong, this is the classic South Park election, but to me having a finish and someone in the match coming out of it a winner is better than an angle that I would think Russo is questioning.

The Rumble. It's ridiculous that anyone is picking Seth/Brock over that. The Royal Rumble has had a pretty well established failure rate through the years, whereas Brock's matches up to this point have been pretty monumental so the drop off tonight I find is far greater than the Rumble was. If we're talking which was worse? the Rumble easily wins but to be disappointed means you had expectations in the first place.

Every single other Rumble I have found to be a fun experience, regardless of who the winner is and how far ahead of time it was obvious they were winning. But the 2015 one was a boring, plodding, ball of suck once Kane and Big Show got into their groove. At least I enjoyed the spectacle of tonight's main event while watching, even if the lack of actual ending leaves a ton of questions in the aftermath.

Give it a minute, Russo will love this. I get what you mean. I was spoiled on this on Observer Radio this week, so it was no shock to me by bell time. But in a way, had I not known, I wouldn't have been as bleh about it. It was a nothing finish, and it leaves open ends to the whole story they just spent FIVE weeks building towards. That's upsetting. But I still think it's no Rumble 2015 in terms of plain stupidity.

Rollins/Lesnar by far. I think everyone expected this match since they teased it last year and how good the triple threat at rumble and how rabid the crowd were on the post mania raw.

I'd give it another night, a "surprise" Taker return will always get a major pop, it will be the follow up that makes or breaks it. Shit, Rock was cheered until it became obvious what was going on. Might be why they didn't bother announcing a winner.
