All of them. I can't think of a TNA character gimmick that remotely even worked.

I want to add Desmond Wolfe to this list.
Nigel is a quality talent, there's no denying that, but the second he started using Wolf puns in his promos is the second I lost interest in the wrestler. The character assassinated any interest I had in seeing Nigel. He was much better as the annoying, cocky Brit in ROH.

TNA managed to turn a friggin' WWE Hall of Fame Ring into a complete a total joke. Koko already did that.

It seems like Abyss got steadily worse with every outfit change and alignment turn. From this: To this:

It seems like Abyss got steadily worse with every outfit change and alignment turn. From this: To this: Wow...that's embarrassing. You can't even call it a Kane ripoff anymore. It's more like they purchased the cheapest version of a Kane costume (You know that Homestar Runner cartoon where it's just a crappy plastic Bubs mask and a crappier plastic apronthat says Bubs on it with a pciture of Bubs on it? That thing.), spraypainted the mask orange and just...gave up. How fitting of this company.

"MISTAH MANGLED" I've always liked Wolfe and London Brawling is one of my favorite team names.

That second Abyss pic seriously looks like Penn Jillete decided to do a skit making fun of wrestling.

at first glance I thought the bottom abyss pic had grease paints smeared on his face before I realized it was just his goofy mask.

Just thinking about the wasted potential for a positive gay/bi character there makes me a little angry. I just double-checked and that whole godawful Orlando as depraved bi heel thing was happening at the same time Chris Kanyon took his own life. While I'm clearly not intending to drawn any causal link, early 2010 sure was a bleak time to be gay / bi and in or into wrestling. Even worse- IIRC, weren't there whispers around the time Kanyon committed suicide that the straw that broke the camel's back for him was Orlando Jordan doing that very gimmick (and in the process, taking the TNA spot of "first openly gay wrestler" that Kanyon had been trying to get for himself for the previous four years?) Kanyon still would have been their first openly gay wrestler if he'd have joined, since Jordan was openly bi. TBH, the Orlando Jordan angle would have been so easy to salvage. Still have him as a slightly off kilter, Lady Gaga-esque figure, because that was genuinely pretty neat and different to anything they'd done, give him the male and female valets to keep the bi angle at the forefront, but have him fighting heels, and don't have him doing sexual stuff like the lotion. A competent editor could have made that golden. He was getting a lot of positive press in the Bi Community News and other publications, but they kind of squandered it.

I realize that Pat Patterson is officially classified as "worlds worst kept secret", but wasn't Terry Garvin openly gay long before Kanyon came along?

I pick Orlando Jordan, he could've been a positive character and needed a fresh start...then came the Monday night Massacre...the less said about that gimmick the better. As a bi man, I second this. To get personal: In 2010, I was about to finish college. And it was around this time when I was questioning my sexuality and started to seriously consider the fact that I was attracted to men in addition to women. I was thinking of exploring this, and potentially coming out years before I eventually did. Then, I heard about the Orlando Jordan gimmick. For this and other reasons, I threw up my arms and decided, "f*** this, I'm staying in the closet."

Honestly, that was almost the exact same thing that happened to me. Graduating college in spring 2010, was pretty much on the verge as coming out as bi, flip on TNA and have Orlando Jordan with the bi pride flag plastered everywhere, acting like a cliche depraved horndog like something you'd see twenty-thirty years ago.
I facepalmed so hard it threw me back into the closet before I could even open it all the way.
