Cena could be any DC hero, because his character incorporates every positive virtue there is, from week to week.
Kane and/or Big Show = Two-Face. Is he face or heel? Not even he knows until he tosses that coin.
New Day are obviously the Blue Lantern corps. Hope = Positivity.
Becky Lynch = Batgirl
Charlotte = Black Canary
Sasha = Talia Al'Ghul? (not a great fit)

I could have sworn they called Reigns Superman and even he called himself that. After the Lesnar shit though, it sort of stopped.

Honestly, if I were to believe anybody was a child in a grown man's body, it would be John Cena. And I say that as someone who actually likes the guy. Also, if Vince McMahon is Mark Millar, then Vince Russo is Frank Miller. And I've seem enough of TNA to make that comparison outside of a comic book analogy thread. |

If Cena's any Superhero, it's Sentry from over at Marvel.
Started out as a cheesy, yet enjoyable character in the early 2000s? Check.
Eventually evolved into being shoehorned into storylines and hyped beyond belief? Check.
Portrayed as nigh-unstoppable and as strong as he needs to be? Check.
Is meant to be a pastiche of a previous character who had a much warmer reception from fans? A character who is said to be the very patron saint of his industry by Americans, if not people the world over (Sentry:Superman :: Cena:Hogan)? Check.
