I just feel like we're in dire need of a face champion right now. People get tired of the heel running rough shot over people after a while. Reigns is who I'd pick, but I feel like it might backfire...there's just no one who makes sense at the moment. There's always Ambrose or Cesaro.

No thanks, I didn't care the other times. Sheamus gets the wrong kind of heat from me. I just want him to go away.

They really seem unsure of what to do with Sheamus. And really, it shouldn't be hard. Have him kick the crap out of people ala his first heel run.

Even with the heel turn and the mohawk, Sheamus still feels stale and like he doesn't fit in.

Reigns is who I'd pick, but I feel like it might backfire...there's just no one who makes sense at the moment. There hasn't been a WWE/World title reign I've enjoyed since CM Punk's long title run which was in 2011-12. Every title reign since then has either been part timers who are never around (Rock, Brock), boring heel authority golden boy who dominates forever (Orton, Rollins), or CENA WINS LOL. This Rollins reign has been so dull and uninteresting. With all the other top faces busy in with other stuff, I think they should just have a surprise face title change with someone like a Ryback or a Cesaro. They did it back in 92 with Bret Hart who was a midcarder up until that point and Jericho in 2000 before it got reversed, so it's not something that hasn't been done before. It doesn't even have to have to be a long reign or anything like, just maybe a short two or three month reign to finally spike some interest and shake things up a little bit because it desperately needs it.

The Big Guy as Champion would be a welcome change for me. Hell, New Day being the Champion would be even better.

The problem with Sheamus having MITB is that it fits no currently storyline worth a crap. With his ultra pale look, mohawk, and beaded beard he hardly seems like this "face of the company" type The Authority would want, so if he is involved with them at all it's purely because he has MITB. Further, he isn't really an interesting guy to have MITB in the first place. He isn't a conniving dirtbag like Edge, Rollins, or Miz. Actually he's kind of this stronger, bullying heel with MITB and that just doesn't fit.

He just needs to go grow his hair back and kick the crap out of people. None of this "are you not entertained" rubbish.

Whenever threads come up about Sheamus my heart always sinks a little at the hatred the first Irish world champion gets from the IWC (myself included, I mean not hate but his character) and then I swiftly remember we have Finn and Becky (hell, Finlay too) and all is right with the world. At the last WWE event I was at in what must have been 2011 I was one of the only ones there cheering for a heel for the night Daniel Bryan against Sheamus who was playing a home town face.

I like Sheamus....but no. He'd make a good contender for it if someone like Cesaro, or Brock still, were champ, in brutal "2 bulls knocking the hell out of each other" matches, but otherwise no. He's perfectly good in the midcard to upper midcard, it's the best place for him.

Sure, as long as he's not feuding with Cena and feuds with Rollins, Lesnar, Ambrose, and even Owens.
