Showalter was wearing a fat suit, right?
Like I cannot believe he's put on that much weight.
I saw him do stand-up maybe three years ago and he was still thin.

Awesome show. Some of the stuff was so stupid and over the top that it actually worked. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}I mean we got an origin story for the can of vegetables and it worked! It's crazy how pretty much everyone, not counting Showalter, looked the same. Rudd and Banks dont seem to age. Speaking of Elizabeth Banks, I really liked her story and was glad she got so much time on the show. I was blown away with the special guests {Spoiler}{Spoiler}I was shocked to see Chris Pine. Hamm was just awesome as The Falcon

Finally marathoned this, last night. Perfection. It was everything I had hoped Anchorman 2, would've been, keeping in the spirit and comedy style, but having new bits and lines that are just as quotable as the original. I was laughing so hard, my sides still hurt.

I watched the movie for the first time today and am 6 episodes into the prequel series. I've had a few laughs but still unsure what to make of it. I like the concept but a 4 hour prequel series to an obscure hour and a half movie from 14 years ago feels off.

I was laughing so hard, my sides still hurt. You bumping this thread led to me spending 6 1/2 hours today watching the movie and series today. I still don't know what to make of it but I will remember August 15, 2015 because of you sir.

Watched the first two episodes. An episode is like the movie. Short and silly. Not especially good, but something that's not hard to watch. Very silly. The bully kid is a standout.

Just watched episode three. Damn! Let's just say there are many 'mad men' on the show.
