As long as she doesn't ever answer a question again by replying "well, I am the most genetically superior", I am on board with Charlotte.

Well, when you don't pick girls off the weather channel, you might actually find some competent wrestlers. The Weather Channel has some quality wrestling! Lest I remind everyone of the Ric Flair-El Nino classic from the fall of 1997.

Them aside, most second gen wrestlers have lived up to their expectations, there are more good than bad. The only other bad one I can think of is Henry Godwin's son, the melting man. Lacey Von Erich was bad. Really bad. I was going to say Garrett Bischoff, but in a way that's a reverse of what this thread is about since Garrett actually was a worker.

Well, when you don't pick girls off the weather channel, you might actually find some competent wrestlers. Or, you know, the girl's father is Ric freaking Flair and she's just a genetic freak who happens to be a natural at wrestling. Charlotte is the exception in a lot of ways, not the rule. That's not always true though, just look at the other Flair spawn, David. Sure genetics probably help some, but to get this good she probably busted her ass.

I'm not arguing that but genetics obviously played a significant factor here. I don't care how hard you work, 99% of wrestlers aren't this good after 2 years. She's a natural. Some people are just gifted at something and Charlotte's clearly gifted when it comes to wrestling.

During the early days of NXT (before the WWE Network had launched), I was critical of Charlotte, but I always wanted to preface the criticism with the fact that she had just started and that NXT (especially then) was a place to gain experience and get better. I remember when Charlotte looked really unnatural in backstage segments and interactions with other women. I remember when she looked really lost in the ring and unpolished. And then I saw her very quickly get better in both areas. I considered Sasha, Becky, and Bayley to be better overall, though I really thought Charlotte got good very quickly.
I think the NXT environment may be better for Charlotte right now. In developmental, they rehearsed their matches and worked with each other quite a bit. Charlotte has not looked quite as good as she did in NXT, especially when working with those she didn't work with in NXT.
I understand why she's priority number one of the new call-ups, and I wish her well. Still, I think Sasha and Becky are better suited for the top push.

Didn't think HHH or Dusty would teach a style of DDP clones. They want on the fly and ad lib.

If that is true, I feel it takes a lot of shine off their quality.

If that is true, I feel it takes a lot of shine off their quality. Everybody rehearses matches, they go over spots and such. The real deal is filling the blanks inbetween. DDP carefully rehearsed EVERYTHING and there's no way they'd allow up and comers to do that.

Yeah, I know big spots and major moves are practiced and rehearsed but that read like the whole thing was, DDP style. It was the first time I'd heard the women of NXT allegedly doing that. I'll believe it is usual big spot stuff unless proven otherwise. I'd hate to think the women are only that good because they plan the whole thing out like that.
