That is mind blowing as she is better than 98% of the women who have ever wrestled in the WWE.
In contrast, Torrie Wilson, Candice Michelle, and Kelly Kelly had a combined 20 years in the industry and all were never the best wrestlers.

Well, when you don't pick girls off the weather channel, you might actually find some competent wrestlers.

It seems that most of these second/third genners these days get their familes wrestling gene but none of their personality gene.

You can tell she is still new. In her last 5 televised matches, she has done 17 kip ups. She spams then something chronic. I hope she tones them down in the future. Imagine how an iconic HBK slot would mean nothing if he did one literally every time he was on his back.

Imagine how an iconic HBK slot would mean nothing if he did one literally every time he was on his back. Even Shawn did them too much. People complain, and to an extent rightly so, about Cena stopping selling the leg in his match with HBK at Mania. They overlook that Shawn stopped selling his back in like, the vast majority of his late matches, since guys often targeted his back to play off of his injury in the past, and yet he'd kip up like nothing ever happened.

Third one really is the charm. No offence to Reid or David, but neither of them ever looked like they wanted to be in a wrestling ring.

Imagine how an iconic HBK slot would mean nothing if he did one literally every time he was on his back. We're the first generation of fans and wrestlers who grew up on more ssimulation based (rahter than 8 or 16 bit arcade) wrestling video games. Spamming things is very common nowadays and the fans like it, probably for that reasons. Finisher spamming for example is huge nowadays, thats a videogame thing.

The way I always saw it is that it was Shawn getting his second wind, his version of hulking up to make the comeback. It's not like he jumped up, threw his hand in the air, and gave a smarmy 'f*** you' smirk to the crowd every time as he no sold. On point, I love Charlotte and am a defender. I think she's amazingly gifted, and is doing a great job of carrying on the Flair name. I have zero problem with her woo-ing, chopping, or having a remixed version of her father's music. It all fits and she she walks with confidence down to the ring that is only second to Sasha Banks.

True and that links to a thread I made under a different account on here a while ago about how WWE and wrestling in general moving to a "spot monkey" style future. If that is the mind frame of people these days - that is the psychology of the match, it isn't just moves for the sake of it anymore. Do we call people spot monkeys in MMA for immediately trying a KO or guillotine choke and not building to it first? No so why would a wrestler not spam all big moves when possible? Orton is a pure old school wrestler yet a lot even on here call him boring and bad in ring. Why would anyone want to be "old school" anymore if one of the best in the world is called boring yet Kevin "create a movelist" Owens is the future? Psychology is fluid and I think wrestling may slowly be changing what psychology is, hence guys like Cornette losing all relevance to modern wrestling. They are almost in a different business now. *edit - still don't want 4 kip ups per match though, lol*

Well, when you don't pick girls off the weather channel, you might actually find some competent wrestlers. Or, you know, the girl's father is Ric freaking Flair and she's just a genetic freak who happens to be a natural at wrestling. Charlotte is the exception in a lot of ways, not the rule.

Them aside, most second gen wrestlers have lived up to their expectations, there are more good than bad. The only other bad one I can think of is Henry Godwin's son, the melting man.

Also Charlotte is one of the best athletes I have ever seen in women's wrestling, so that helps. It was said Stu Hart loved training athletes the most for they are the easiest to train, mold, and turn into something great. Plus she's probably coached by Flair and HHH and many other former wrestlers in the company close to Flair very closely.
