Okay, has anybody here tried out any 3D brawlers? I still think that one of the better ones was Gekido for the PS1. That was actually a decent brawler and captured the style that the old 2D ones had, like the "Go" sign with the arrow, and you did go from side to side. The only problem that I had was that when combos were unlocked, you did not have a command list to see what the combos were.
Also, I remember enjoying Fighting Force when I was younger, but that game did have problems, like how the life bars stayed the same way as it did when the previous stage was finished.
I highly recommend you guys to try out The Red Star. That game combines elements of a beat-em-up with run-n-gun shooters.

Would Diablo count in this? Walk along hit things til they die, open up new stages as you progress.
