If this company was still around, is it safe to say they turn Cena heel at least once? If WWE is so hesitant, once he goes to WCW a turn is imminent? This is the same company that turned everyone heel eventually. Hogan, Sting, Savage, Luger, Flair, DDP, Nash, Goldberg, to name a few. I guess he would somehow align with the nWo and someone Orton gets brought into WCW as a "chum" of Cena. Does he go heel in the company?

He would probably turn in the WWE before that, if WCW was any sort of threat the E would be forced to stay interesting.

The thought of the NWO still being a thing if WCW still existed is mind numbing, but you know it would.

Definitely. Absolutely. I think if WCW still existed he would've turned heel during the whole Nexus angle.

To be fair, this is assuming WCW is pushing someone new. If they were still around I guarantee we'd still be getting Nash vs Hogan main events somehow.

Sure. He probably would've been the next Lex Luger type character over there.

They turned Sting and Goldberg. If they turned them, they'd turn anyone.

They turned Sting and Goldberg. If they turned them, they'd turn anyone. Turned them but it didn't work since fans wasn't going to boo them.

Cena would, no doubt, betray Sting - twice.

They'd turn him heel after 3-5 years, then quickly drop it a month later

Yes, but Bobby Heenan would spoil it.

Yeah but it would've been done in like 2004-05 when he was super over as a face.

I think it could work if they let the heels actually act like heels. Ravishing Rick Rude is what I consider to be a classic heel, he'd insult the audience, his opponents, and acted/looked like a heel. Cena, it wouldn't take much, just take his current character and amplify it times a million. He'd get massive heat and wouldn't get cheered at all.

Actually just take his current character and keep it absolutely the same. Why change when he's getting booed already. Sure have him do some heel tactics such as foot on ropes etc but the people wanting a Cena heel turn will cheer him if he completely changes his character.

Would it make sense at the time? If yes, then no, and vice versa.

Think a cross between Ravishing Rick Rude and Triple H 2000-2001 in his prime. Cena would get a ridiculous amount of heat then. He already gets a lot as it is, imagine if he just tweaked it a bit. When Jericho turned heel he stripped all the flashiness of his past persona, became a vicious serious heel, cut emotionless promos, insulted the crowd, and was booed out of the building in every segment.

I agree with what you are saying but I just think making him more aggressive wil get him cheered if you change it up to much. I think making Cena a whiner over little issues like "young" guys not showing him respect and those "darlings" thinking they can stand up to him. Jericho is a great example of stripping everything away to make yourself unlikable but I don't think Cena needs to go that far. However, they will change it up completely. I think Cena will be given free reign and it will be entertaining because despite his demeanor i'm pretty sure it bothers him sometimes he gets booed when he bust his ass so much.

There's no way he ends up in WCW, he's too much of a true believer in the WWE to ever entertain jumping ship as they've given him no reason to. He has never received a major depush or the abusive booking that so many of his peers have and the company has been booked to benefit him without the need for politics so why would he want to jump ship? I know Bret was in a similar boat, but a post 2000 WCW wouldn't be able to roll a dumptruck of cash to Cena's door, and what happened to Bret there will be a warning of what could happen to him if he's not careful.
I don't think he'd turn heel in the WWE either, all WCW's existence means is that he'd have a fresher set of foes to go up against as there would be more of a talent exchange, people arriving from WCW, people departing for it, there would be far fewer tenured 'main eventers' who are in the slot because that's where the company decided they should be the moment they hit the main roster.
