Why exactly does your son hate the Bulldog so much? From roughly 1985 to 1997 there were few better. Now if he saw his 1999 era WWF comeback...okay I can see that. The only footage of Bulldog he had seen to that point, so far as I know, was the 8 minutes or so he was in the 1997 Rumble match. From that brief glimpse, followed by his showing in the same event five years earlier, it seems, he extrapolated the nature of the entire last decade of Davy Boy's work.

Depends on which run. His 1993 run yielded some very good stuff. His 1998 run was a depressing time that almost ended his career and life.

His comparison of Hogan and Dana Brooke made me happy.

I need to know what your son thinks of every single wrestling match in history. The Dana Brooke comment was hilarious.

Just read it again, and he spent a lot of time going on about Texas Tornado/Tyler Breeze, and pretty much NOTHING in Kerry's favor, huh? I just had a good hard laugh (again) at how even finding out Kerry had 1 foot garnered absolutely NO compassion on the little guy's part for him.

I've decided to retcon Kerry Von Erich's entire existence into a complete homage to future Tyler Breeze.

Yes, we're gonna need more of these Try him out on some WCW, I'm curious to see the results. Seconded. Show this kid the Chamber of Horrors match from Halloween Havoc, ASAP.

Hey, OP..you need to make this a regular thing. Call it "Child's Eye View" or some such. And just post the show(s) you watched and his reactions. That'd be awesome.

I shall get onto some more "Child's-Eye View" Reviews as soon as possible. Halloween Havoc Chamber of Horrors match might have to be done when his mother's out of the house. However, I shall have to move quickly. He's becoming smarkier by the minute, and I think he's beginning to play up to what he thinks will be "funny" answers.
This afternoon, in conversation, we got this:
Him - "Daddy, Ric Flair is better than John Cena. He won 16 World Titles."
Me - "Yes, son. I think so, too. Is there anyone else you think is better than John Cena?" (my mistake for asking him a leading question like that, but this is his response, in order...)
Him - "Ric Flair; Finlay, because he loves to fight; Undertaker, obviously; Kane as well; Seth Rollins; Dean Ambrose; Roman Reigns; Kevin Owens; Samoa Joe; Baron Corbin..."
Me - "Wait! Baron Corbin?"
Him- "Well, he's hit End of Days on Samoa Joe, and Samoa Joe's better than Cena, so he could beat Cena..."
Me - "Ok, anyone else?"
Him - "Alexander Rusev; The Great Khali, because he's massive; The person who did the "love" thing, in the silver t-shirt..."
Me - "Who? A "love thing" in a "silver t-shirt?"
Him - "In that Royal Rumble match we saw..."
Me - "Viscera? Viscera is better than Cena?"
Him - "It took loads of guys to get him out of the ring. "
Me - "Ok, I think this list is getting a bit silly. Are there any wrestlers who are definitely not as good as Cena?"
Him - "Including girls?"
Me - "Sure, including girls..."
Him - "Umm... Eva Marie?"
What have I created?

Mean Gene shouts "Put that cigarette out!" mid-interview: Laughs hysterically. This, so far as he is concerned, is the funniest thing ever to have happened in wrestling. He would be correct about that.
