And what I mean by that is, you have a bunch of bodybuilders, and give them gimmicks and then....what, exactly? What's the point of it? Especially what was the point of the weekly tv show? How did they fill that time on Bodystars? It's all very confusing to me, as someone who wasn't a WWF fan at the time(I was raised a WCW kid).

I'm reading about it now and I have no idea, I am also confused as to how bodybuilding titles are won and lost so if anyone who saw it at the time can explain that would be cool

I'm honestly amazed Vince didn't try and get WBF guys trained as wrestlers when the company closed. I'm sure some nights he dreams of Gary Strydom standing victorious over a battered Bret Hart then wakes up with a tear in his eye over what could have been.

I think he did offer some of them contracts. If I recall, everyone opted to go back to body building.

This came about as I began watching in 1991, never watched the show and the only thing I remember about it is Cameo Kneur (The hot TV presenter) and the mass WBF ad's in WWF Magazine

So, it's like gymnastics, except instead of being judged on what your body is doing, you're being judges on how your body looks.

They had 2 PPV which were just normal competitions (flexing and talking like a pageant), Roidfreak Strydom (Hoganlike status) won both
How this was supposed to be exciting IDK...it sure was exciting for VinnieMac
