A 260 lb guy doing a standing moonsault is "ass"?

A 260 lb guy doing a standing moonsault is "ass"? Yeah, he should do it off the top of a cage. And then when people are bored with that, off the top of the titantron.

His finish was my favorite part. Not often do you see someone follow a Gorilla Press with a standing moonsault.

Too much flying. The "power guy with crazy agility" is only interesting if you establish the power part first, since in wrestling that's sort of the default.

If WWE isn't a racist ass company, this guy should win the WWE championship in the next 5 years. He's that good.

Absolutely, that combo was excellent... it's like a flashier version of the Warrior finish. I said when they were showing the Vignettes they were making him out to be a big deal... that match proved why. Not that it was a 5 star classic but his buckets of charisma and physical ability was damn amazing to see.

Loved it. His real name is Terry Creed? LOL I dunno but in the thread where we found his name was half Terry Crews and Apollo Creed it was decided that Terry Creed was a better name than Apollo Crews

It's a gorilla press followed by a standing moonsault. I think it works fine. It's not like this is Evan Bourne or even Neville, it's a guy who weighs 260lbs landing on you.

Yeah, as I said with Gorilla Press it's basically a more athletic version of the Ultimate Warrior Finish.

He looked so damn happy when he walked out, instantly made me like him more.
But yeah, it was kind of a boring match considering some of the stuff he can do. And I like Dillinger, but they should've had some random jabroni for him to squash instead. Crews got beat down too much, he needs to be shown as a monster that can move fast like Lesnar.

They had CJ Parker get some offense in on Kevin Owens, in Owens' debut. Didn't seem to hurt him too much in the long run. This is a Takeover event, so I'd be miffed for the guys on the roster if they weren't on the show but some total jobber was, just to Crews could squash him. In this match, Crews looked great and Dillinger looked decent as well. It helped both of them.

I'm in the same boat that I never saw any of his work before Takeover. But, I was very impressed. I am glad it wasn't an out and out squash though because I'm enjoying Dillinger's new gimmick.

Finishers don't have to be flashy to be effective.
Hogans was a "300 pound man" dropping a leg on you. Savages was a top rope elbow drop (albeit a damn good one).
To another extent, for a while Chris Masters made a damn Full Nelson a legit finisher.
Crews' finisher is fine.
