Maybe the big thing teased by Dave Meltzer for RAW ?
Maybe we'll see talents from NJPW on WWE, and WWE talents go to NJPW ?

Ever since the Invasion, I've been nervous about WWE interacting with other companies. I can see NJPW and NXT probably doing a crossover but not anything involving the main roster.

I was coming here to post that it was probably just to support Liger, but then I saw that Tiger Hattori, Gedo and a few others were backstage. A talent exchange or WWE picking up NJPW World distro rights in the US would be pretty brilliant...

Weren't Gabe Sapolsky and Sal Hambalabobo at NXT also?
Best way to revive global wrestling is all the top promotors working together I guess.

No. Stop it. Don't even f***ing tease me with the thought of having NJPW dudes against WWE guys. Okada v Orton, Nakamura v Rollins (Seeing as Bryan's out), Bullet Club vs a team of top-tier dudes led by Cena.

Tanahashi/Okada vs. Orton/Cena. It breaks down in the middle of the match and both teams just end up having matches with each other. Fans of both companies riot.

I, for one, would not mind RAW ending with the entire Bullet Club (Balor included) laying waste to Cena.

FYI, it was Gedo (co-booker of NJPW), Tiger Hattori (the ref that isn't Red Shoes), Takaaki Kidani (president of Bushiroad which owns NJPW) and Naoki Sugabayashi (chairman of NJPW). Also, Liger books the junior heavyweights in NJPW.
Okada was wrestling at ROH Field of Honor just down the road and Gedo wasn't there to manage him. That's very telling.
Meltzer did note a while back that NJPW's only concrete wrestling partner was CMLL. New Japan was offered Mysterio for some dates, but out of respect for CMLL they declined.

No chance of any kind of deal happening, there's nothing for WWE to gain from such a deal. NJPW and ROH just announced that they were strengthening their working relationship, so nothing will come of this.

I, for one, would not mind RAW ending with the entire Bullet Club (Balor included) laying waste to Cena. Cena then single-handedly destroys them in a matter of minutes after getting Styles Clashed on the exposed concrete ending next year's SummerSlam main event!!! BOOK IT!

It's probably unlikely but I'm still sitting here picturing Okada at an NXT Takeover.

Survivor Series: Bullet Club (Styles, Young Bucks, Anderson and Gallows) vs Team WWE (Cena, Orton, Neville, Cesaro and a returning Daniel Bryan). My fantasy booking for the day is done.

NXT has the Dusty Rhodes Memorial Tournament for tag teams coming up, so maybe a discussion about some NJPW talent appearing?

If we got Nakamura or Okada in WWE/NXT, take my money now. I'm taking a week off work.

NJPW was likely there because of Jushin Thunder Liger. To see how WWE does things and makes sure they don't try anything shady with one of their big stars.

They were visiting with Balor and a few others since they were in the same area. They just announced a major partnership with ROH.

I, for one, would not mind RAW ending with the entire Bullet Club (Balor included) Holy shit that would be amazing, I never even considered Balor some day re untinting with BC.
