It should come as no surprise that NXT has a pretty loaded roster right now. But if you had a gun to your head and had to pick your top five acts who keep you watching, who would they be?
I've consolidated all tag teams and stables into one pick. It seems a little redundant to have a vote for say both Vaudevillains for example. Also I didn't bother adding jobbers like Sylvester Lefort, or Angelo Dawkins, who really haven't been significant enough recently to deserve a vote.

Even though they still appear on NXT I don't consider Sasha, Charlotte, Becky or Owens, to be NXT acts anymore.
Here are my favorites:
Joe Bayley Vaudevillians Enzo/Cass/Carmella Finn Balor

(I know no one asked for this, but I felt like explaining each pick a little bit for fun/to reflect on how much I enjoy them all)
Sasha Banks: Debated on whether or not I should pick her cause she's on the main roster now, but she's my favorite wrestler in the entire company at the moment. I love Sasha, in the ring, out of the ring, you name it. She's such a genuine fan that is nothing like her character, but still nails it. I respect that so much and think that she'll be one of the best ever if she keeps improving at the rate she is right now.
Enzo, Cass, and Carmella: This is a funny one. At first I thought the Enzo/Cass thing was stupid. Then I turned around on it and they added Carmella. THAT took a while for me to turn around on, but it finally got to the point where they are now. Part of the reason I even wanted to go to Takeover in Brooklyn was to be able to be in the crowd during their entrance. They're that fun and infectious to me. Enzo and Cass trash talking people before the match is one of the highlights for NXT programming for me week in and week out and Carmella's really come into her own since they stopped the weird stand-offish attitude she was giving when she first got pulled in.
Tyler Breeze: Guy is another one of those silly gimmicks that I thought I would never like but ended up loving. Breeze doesn't get enough love for how charismatic he is and how much fun his stupid selfie character can be. One of the things that drew me into the Fatal 4 Way earlier this year was Breeze's promo work. Not only did he establish himself as a legit competitor, but he carried this arrogance that made me interested in seeing him back it up in the ring. He's a great loudmouth heel with a relevant enough gimmick to draw people in, but the skills to keep them invested as well. He's over the top enough that he's not completely insufferable and genuinely unlikeable.
Sami Zayn: Ultimate Babyface. Not enough good to say about him. I will say that he's one of the best promo guys they have on the entire roster. Sami's hurt right now, so Bayley's kind of taken his spot for me, but since he's on this list I felt compelled to vote for him.
Gable and Jordan: Chad Gable has IT. Whatever IT is, Chad Gable has it. We haven't seen enough of him overall, but from the little we've gotten I LOVE the guy. Jason Jordan is a great straight man for him too, but Gable is what's been missing with Jordan and seeing them together is awesome.
When you line them all up and pick them out there are a number of acts in NXT that I genuinely enjoy and want to see in person. Of course there are a few that really make me cringe and hate their segments, but there's enough for everyone on the roster that I chalk it up to those characters not being my cup of tea. There are so many people that I'd pay to see. It's a really really solid brand.
