For me it's Lesnar.
This is the way they should have been using him from the start. I'm enjoying seeing Brock beat the shit out of people and causing random mayhem. They should have an episode of Raw where he just runs amok...lol. They can have segments where he suplexes and F-5's random guys all night. Seth Rollins comes out to cut another boring ass promo...cue Lesnar's music and he attacks and suplexes Rollins out of his knee high stripper boots and finishes things with about 5 F-5's. That would be a great Rollins segment...lol.

I enjoy just about everything except the storytelling. Seems like everyone on the roster is giving it their all and the in ring stuff from week to week is great. There's just no point to much of anything.

There's just no point to much of anything. Someone said in another thread that WWE is kinda turning into WCW's worst moments at times, and you've reminded me of something Meltzer said once about a Nitro match. I think it was something like 'they had the same great match they always have.' People are wrestling really well, but with basically no motivation on either side.

I'm positive this thread won't make 3 pages. But seriously, I personally feel that overall WWE product is much, much stronger than it been in a decade. I am shocked it got to page 2 to be honest with you. Actually I am almost surprised it got any replies.

There's just no point to much of anything. That's the problem I have with it. I know, every week, Cesaro, et al. will have great matches. But with no storyline I tune out until I hear things pick up near the finish.

Great wrestling is nothing without great storytelling. You can have the best match ever but if I don't care about the participants or why they are fighting, I don't care about the match.
There are some great matches every week but are there any reasons for these matches? No. Are there any consequences for losing? No. Are there any rewards for winning? No.
ECW had very mediocre- crap wrestlers a lot of the time but the characters were engaging and believable. The stories were well told and planned out. Raven/Dreamer matches weren't 5 star classics in the technical sense, but they were incredibly entertaining because of the characters and the history.
You can give me all of the Cesaro vs Owens matches in the world, but until there is a good story behind it, I just won't care all that much.
With that said, Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman keep me watching Raw. Those two are major positives along with the great video packages.

Brock Lesnar wrecking shit is actually quite cathartic. As overplayed as it may be, I like the Suplex City stuff.

I know some don't like the product overall, whatever that even means from person to person, but we've had some pretty darn good episodes of RAW here and there. I'm positive Hunter is getting more control it's just happening little by little. I believe Vince is going to hand things over to him a lot sooner than people think.

Here's some positivity...another wrestling related story involving my 3 year old son.
I got him to tell his mom that she just needed to Bo-lieve!
He tells her to Boooooooo-lieeeeeevvvveeee!
It was hilarious seeing her corpse when he did it.
Thank you Bo Dallas.

Aside from last week, I think Raw has been at least 50% decent for a little over a month. For WWE that isn't too shabby.

Brock Paul Heyman Paul Heyman with a live mic Brock again Fight Owens Fight Bryan Bryan's beard Bryan's sincere smile/laugh in his recent appearances (like, he's thinking "I can't BELIEVE all these people are cheering this loudly for ME") Ambrose Amrbose Asylum tshirt (gee...wonder why I like that?) New Day Xavier Woods with a live mic...or even near a live, hot mic... Stardust Wyatt Family Wyatt Family entrance Bray Wyatt promos (I love 'em...F the haters) Cesaro Cesaro's "2 Swiss' jacket Cesaro uppercuts Anytime Cesaro is in a match with someone like Sheamus where you're likely to get an exchange of multiple european uppercuts the nights we have a REAL good Raw thread (like this past Monday) the good things it inspires from time to time on this board (like the Lesnar/Taker photoshop thread recently)
just a quick list off the top of my head of why I pay attention that doesn't involve guys that aren't there anymore (Punk, Austin, HBK) or NXT...though i'm sure I could think of more...
EDIT; And Brock one more time just to be safe.

Another bright side, merchandise. The shirts and such aren't embarrassing like they once were. I could wear New Day's to work. And the Elite figures are the bomb. Some of the nicest action figures around, except for the head sculpt.

Great wrestling is nothing without great storytelling. You can have the best match ever but if I don't care about the participants or why they are fighting, I don't care about the match. And of course, the opposite is also true. I am a Ryback mark, because I love the character, love his promos, and some of his moves, but he generally has mediocre matches, as does Miz, but I will watch the shit out of anything either man does because I'm invested in them. Hell when it's Rumble time, I ALWAYS mark out for Great Khali, and he is in the bottom 5 worst wrestlers I've ever seen.
