Apparently the dickhead management where I live is being strict about how many people live per square foot in a long term rental. That pretty much means families are screwed from renting here because most places where we live aren't that big. Our landlady called my father the other day and said she wasn't renewing our lease because of it. Our lease runs out January 1st.
So basically we have to search for a new place in the middle of snowbird season. That and we're lucky enough to pay $850 in rent now but getting any other place around here will cost us $1500-$2000 a month not including utilities. She told us if we can find a place by the end of November we can skip December's rent to use towards a down payment and that we'll get $200 I had to use for the park's stupid lease and she'll also give us another $500 to use for a down payment.
I'm not looking forward to these next few months.

I've been there before man, and I'm just a step above being homeless right now. Moving in the winter sucks, especially if you also have to pay for heating oil or gas on top of that. On the upside, you and your family have a lot of time to plan. The only real advice I can give is to keep your head up, try to work with your family on a plan and don't be ashamed to look into any sort of financial or housing assistance if it's available in your area. It's scary and it's depressing but you can make it through.

What I do have to worry about is paying $2000 plus a month to pay for all of the landlords coke habits.
