Two thirds of The Shield taken out by this stupid nothing of a wrestler who won't be around in six months. I'd give anything to not have to see the same stupid "ZOMG TEH STRONG NEW HEELZ GOT HIT BY CHAIR AND DIDNT GET HURTED" shit again. Go away. Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

I actually kinda miss the days when there were actual monster heels and Braun Strowman is a pretty good one so far.

I kinda feel like Broom Strudleman is the kinda guy that'll become a comedy jobber in a few months.

I kinda feel like Broom Strudleman is the kinda guy that'll become a comedy jobber in a few months. I doubt it unless he just happens to have some funny talent, like Kozlov's weirdly good dance skills. I think that if he ends up losing favor, he'd be more likely to be like Hercules Hernandez and just be an obstacle to be overcome by the new flavor, or a big dude in a tag team to get the hot tag.

I like the lifting chokehold thing. Me too, and it's been quite awhile since we've seen a move really sell how strong the guy performing it is supposed to be.

But Roman Reigns is finally not looking strong. That's what you all wanted, right? I'm happy

I wonder if they'll debut anyone to help even the odds, or call in help from someone already around.
I would be irritated if they had Rowan turn face again to help out, since that wouldn't make any sense.
I could see something happening like Dean dismantling the turnbuckle so Braun tries a body avalanche on him and takes heavy damage from his own strength, gets hit with the rebound clothesline or some other strike, and turns around into a spear, or some equally convoluted way to bring him down.

Bram Strokeman is a craft beer enthusiast. Instant feud with Rowan, wine V beer

I'm liking the guy so far. I mark for both superheavyweight wrecking machines, and old school booking where the faces fight an uphill battle against the seemingly invincible heel.
I do agree about the repetition, though. This is one of those situations where it would help to have jobber squashes — used sparingly, that is, not original Ryback style booking. Rather than immediately throwing the dude in there with Ambrose and essentially repeating last week's sympathy spots, they could have had him dismember some poor shmuck in thirty seconds to put over what a monster he is, then do another confrontation with the faces next week, a second squash the week after that ... space things out over the course of the feud, rather than having it all front-loaded and burning the audience out too quickly.

I take it everyone in this thread talking smack about Braun is still completely in love with Ryback, right?

I take it everyone in this thread talking smack about Braun is still completely in love with Ryback, right? Might be because Ryback, while kinda limited in the ring, is quite entertaining and doesn't look like a hugging care bear I'm supposed to take seriously?
