Slam City could be a good start. I first started out by watching Hulk Hogan's Rock N Wrestling. Pick him up a couple action figures to play with too.

I really don't think a 7 year old is really going to care about a 20 something minute mat classic. Just show them some comedy stuff, or some short fun matches. or that Slam City show if it's still around, likewise Saturday Morning Slam.

This. Mostly because it'd be easier to get a kid to keep attention for one hour than three. Thats my thought. Only an hour, colorful and fun characters, easy to follow stories, and if they're into it and eventually move to main WWE, the people they became fans of will possibly be on WWE eventually.

Have them get some seasoning in the indies to build buzz and hope to attract the attention of someone in Stanford who may want to sign them to NXT.
7 is pretty young, but that may help him stand out a bit.

Show 'em the Rock/Austin "My Way" video. That usually does it.

Also you might want to try the WWE/Scooby Doo movie. It was cute and fun and a 7 year old would probably dig it. And after that I'd say NXT or Saturday Morning Slam or Main Event. See what he responds to then go from there.

I'd start with the Divas Search insult segment. That way literally nothing else you show him from wrestling this side of Abdullah the Butcher would be more traumatizing.

Old ECW Dudley Boyz promos. "See Billy, this is how you almost start a riot. And that's how say a nasty limerick!"

Just have it on the tv next time it is on and he is around. If he digs it, ask him if he wants to watch again next time it's on.
However, if he doesn't seem into it, don't try to get him into it. Let him like his own stuff whatever that may be.

Any Rock promo from 1999 to 2000 during his face run. Thats what hooked me to wrestling.

I got into wrestling by watching Hulk Hogan's Rock N Wrestling.
I knew a guy who got into wrestling because of playing wrestling games.

This. Mostly because it'd be easier to get a kid to keep attention for one hour than three. Yup. Got to agree with starting them on NXT. 1 hour vs 3 hours is massive in kid-terms.
Here's my experience of watching WWE with my son at that age, for further thoughts.
