Okay, watching Survivor Series 2011 now. According to Michael Cole, Sheamus likes to have fun, so at least he and Asuka have something in common. I was watching a Raw from 99 and he even said DX loves to have fun back then.

Rick Rude and Ric Flair once had a bad match. Fall Brawl 1993.

Several of the match graphics for Summerslam 89 look like really strange Survivor Series teams

During my watch of WCW 1985-1989 (currently at the beginning of 1988), I witnessed this wrestler called the Mighty Wilbur. Looked like Mike Shaw doing an Uncle Elmer cosplay, got a decent push (feud with Paul Jones's army) but disappeared around that time due to a leg injury and never returned.
At first, I actually thought it was Mike Shaw in pre-Norman The Lunatic gimmick but it was a different person.

I always found it odd that Ronnie Garvin goes from World Champ main eventing Starrcade 87 against Ric Flair to teaming with Wilbur like a week later.

Going by the observer, he was also doing countout jobs to the Warlord around this time.

Wow I didn’t realize it was that bad I just remember them not doing much with him in 88 till he turns heel at the Bash and then him showing up in wwf.

While we're on the subject of Starrcade 1987, I'm watching it for the first time and I really, really hope Steve Williams didn't injure his crotch too badly.

In a similar vein from Texas, I had no idea that The Spoiler had runs as a face. I assumed he was always a heel.

So the whole group of nxt season rookies that would later become the nexus teamed on a episode of smackdown Bad Kane All 8 of them got f***ing mauled by Kane.
Also Daniel Bryan had a match with Batista on raw during season one of nxt and got mauled. Thought that was kinda cool since he beat Batista at mania a few years later

Raw 10/18/99
Rock has the crowd in the palm of his hand. I think he’s more over than Austin at this point.

Prior to Vince's limo explosion, the Edge/Batista match at Vengeance was called a Do or Die Match. After the explosion it was changed to a Last Chance Match. I found this to be really clever.
