Whether it's reviewing, LPing, strategy guiding, or just plain shooting the breeze about games and the gaming community, which people do you follow most often?
For reviewing, I usually go with That One Video Gamer, AKA: The Completionist. He does a really good job of breaking down each game he plays by sections, and the fact that he's 100%ed pretty much every game he's ever reviewed it pretty awesome by itself. Only thing I don't like is the other guy (Greg?), who is obnoxious and not funny.
For LPing, I really enjoy most of the stuff that TeamFourStar does on their gaming channel. Lani's Renegade For Life series with Vegeta losing his mind over games like The Stanley Parable and I Am Bread are always good for a laugh, and the group stuff they do makes them all seem like guys I'd love to hang out with, even Lani's mom seems like a fun gal when she played in the second Jackbox Jackoff video. Also, Dumplin.
And for other stuff, I find MatPat of Game Theory pretty entertaining. Even if a lot of his theories are faulty and easy to poke holes into, it's still fun to see what sort of creative conspiracies he can come up for different games, like Rosalina being Peach's time-looping daughter in Super Mario Galaxy, or Phone Guy actually being the Purple Guy in Five Nights at Freddy's.
Speaking of FNAF: While I'm not a huge fan of the games themselves, I do think that they've spawned some really good music, especially from NateWantsToBattle, who's currently made six songs dedicated to the franchise: 'No More', 'Mangled', 'Salvaged', 'Nightmare', 'Home' and 'This is the End'. 'Nightmare' was pretty damn depressing on it's own, and that was before I found the animated video for it made by Blue Light. Seriously, watch it and see if you don't choke up. (WARNING: Violence and possible Photosensitive Epilepsy triggering)
