For the first time in his career, in any type of matchup, John Cena has pinned Sheamus on tv. It may be very difficult to believe, but going all the way back to Sheamus's debut in 2009, Cena had never beaten him by pinfall or submission on tv. If Sheamus was beaten in a tag match, it was by Cena's partner. Otherwise Cena either won by DQ over the man.
6 years later, Cena has beaten the man cleanly on tv for the first time.

Cena will also become the first person to team with Sting and successfully not turn on him.

Oh, I thought this was about Cena being the most important person in the Divas Division. Yeah I thought this was about Cena becoming the longest reigning divas champion by proxy.

Didn't watch... Did they even make mention of Sheamus' pristine track record vs. Cena? Seems kind of a waste to kill it on a random match on a random RAW.

I'm honestly a little surprised.

Hate this. The idea of certain opponents having "bogey" opponents, that always somehow manage to beat them is good and to throw this impressive record away on a random TV match is silly.
It's not like Cena needed the win either.

Huh, that's crazy. Probably not intentional, but if so, they've gone out of their way to protect Sheamus for sure!

Cena should've AA'd Sting through the announce table as Cole screamed NOT THIS WAY to sell Network subscriptions for NOC.

It's not like Cena needed the win either. I always loved how Benoit Hardcore Holly seemed like he could beat HHH on any given night, at a time when nobody else was that threatening to HHH.

There is still a catch : CENA HAS NEVER DEFEATED SHEAMUS ON PPV.
