My first live WWE show was a SmackDown house show in 2004. I had to look up the card to see the whole thing and it wasn't all that strong. The only things I completely remember from it were a good Guerrero/Angle main event, Booker T vs. Cena in one of the best of 5 match series, and a super boring JBL/Undertaker match in the middle of the card which ended with Rene Dupree interfering on JBL's half for some reason leading to a DQ. The rest of the show was filled with such great matches like Heidenreich vs. Funaki, Kenzo Suzuki vs. Charlie Haas, and Billy Gunn and Rob Van Dam wrestling Luthor Reigns and Rene Dupree. There was also a Spike Dudley/Rey Mysteiro match and Kidman and London/Dudleys matches which were probably ok. I've been to Raw's and even Smackdowns that I had a ton of fun at, yet I came home to find this board completely trash the show. Being there live definitely helps as you have zero commentary and Kevin Dunn's greasy hands aren't all over your enjoyment of the action. I completely agree. Watching Wrestlemania 31 and the night after RAW live easily would have trumped watching it on TV. It also helps a lot since you don't have to listen to the commentary blurting out their obnoxious crap every 10 seconds.

I've had a great time both times. Drunken PPV fun with friends and a house show with my son.
BUT...I did see Sheamus win the Royal Rumble...

My first ever live event was the 1995 king of the ring. Even 10 year old me knew it was horrible. Nothing since has been that awful, a jbl era smackdown was lousy. The runble this year, well the triple threat was awesome, so it had that thankfully. Booing roman was so fun. So how does one come back from witnessing 4 Savio Vega matches in one night? You been alright? No, I have not been, plus 2 mabel matches, bret hart is a horrible kiss my foot match and a crappy tag match as the main event. God its just opening the wounds! I have yet to ever watch it since then lol.

I was at the ECW taping where they taped the matches for the Extreme Strip Poker episode. Because of that, the matches were all short as hell and uneventful. The best thing I saw was CM Punk vs. Rene Dupree.

Went to a WWE house show in New Orleans in 2003. Really small crowd and the event was pretty horrible. Had a Scott Steiner - Rico match that was awful and the main event of HHH-Nash was very bad (people started leaving midway through the match).
Only saving grace was Christian and Hurricane had a good match.
Just a horrible show though.
Aside from that one show I've found that I've really enjoyed live shows. Have seen some shows live and enjoyed them greatly only to come home and find the same shows getting trashed online.

Last year I went to Smackdown taping where I had to sit through 4 Mark Henry matches in one night. Now I love Mark Henry and was wearing one of his shirts that night, but even I had to go for a toilet break when the Great Khali came out to be his 3rd opponent.
Luckily I got to see The Undertaker wrestle Dean Ambrose in the main event and an appearence from Triple H and the New Age Outlaws so it wasn't all bad.

The only live show I've been to was the RAW where Curtis Axle debuted. That RAW was just as confusing live as it was on TV. Also I'm on TV during the Prime Time Players entrance making million dollar moves.

I actually gave it some thought, and then I remember I attended an ECW/Smackdown in 2008 that might be worse than witnessing Heidenreich vs. Eugene in 2003.
Now, the ECW portion was actually pretty good, with Evan Bourne vs. Chavo being really good and Morrison vs. Finlay being a decent comedy affair with Miz getting tied up under the ring for some reason.
Then Smackdown started, and the quality went down south. It was all a bunch of short matches of no substance, a long talky Big Show and Vickie segment that involved Show having a bunch of short stipulation matches with jobbers to hype Cyber Sunday's choices of stipulations against Undertaker (amusingly, one of the jobbers was Joey Ryan and another was Matt Jackson). MVP continued his losing streak by losing to R-Truth in two minutes. The Great Khali turned face. Maria won the #1 Contendership to the Diva's title in a Fuzzy Dice on a Pole Match. And then the main event, Jeff Hardy who was white hot at the time and a few months away from becoming WWE champion and easily the most over person on this show, lost to the undefeated Vladimir Kozlov while Triple H did commentary, because people really wanted to see Vladimir Kozlov vs. Triple H.

Yes, I attended the Raw Supershow that ended with Vince McMahon forcing Shawn Michaels to kiss his ass. So tell us... How amazing is Mr. McMahon's ass in person?

I can get enjoyment from any show live. Even a shitty USAPro show 12 years ago was salvaged by Balls Mahoney being chased by a girl scout and having a conversation with Rhynos girlfriend.

Even when I go see a bad show I have a great time. However, there were two times I remember being disappointed. I went to a Raw in March 2012. The show was alright and featured HBK, Rock & Undertaker, but I was dying to see Daniel Bryan and Cody Rhodes. Neither guy showed up. I also attended TLC 2014. That was just plain bad outside of Harper/Ziggler. Ohhhman I had so much fun at tlc 2014 Oh, I mean I had a blast. The show itself sucked to me, but I was with friends and we had gone to the Tilted Kilt beforehand.

Here are the shows from WWE and WCW I've attended:
Fall Brawl 1998-Winston Salem, N.C. Fall Brawl 1999-Winston Salem, N.C. WWE Smackdown house show Dec. 2008-Greensboro, N.C. WWE RAW house show June 2010-Greensboro, N.C. WWE Slammys 2011 December 2011-Norfolk, VA. WWE Over the Limit 2012 May 2012-Raleigh, N.C. WWE RAW April 2013-Roanoke, VA. WWE RAW November 2014- Roanoke, VA. WWE house show May 2015-Greensboro, N.C.
Out of those shows, the worst one was the Slammys in 2011. I know those Fall Brawl shows get crapped on, but at least those shows had actual wrestling matches.

British crowds are starved for wrestling so I've not been to a bad show yet - a show that looks like ass on television is amazing in a hot crowd.

i live in indianapolis which isn't exactly known for it's hot crowds.
ive been to a few shows here, first one was in...2010 i think. i remember it was the raw where jericho got punted by orton. we were in the nosebleeds and i remember a few things:
-an old man on oxygen in the row in front of us -an old lady smoking, with her grandson sitting in her lap behind us -a six year old who HATED cena sitting next to me, joined in all the "cena sucks" chants and at one point screamed "f--- you, john cena!" his dumbfounded dad said "did he just say what i think he said...?"
it was awesome.
worst show i remember going to was a smackdown taping that was filled with sleepy kids and bored parents. the parents in the row ahead of us made it a point to turn around and give us death stares any time we shouted or chanted.

Unforgiven 2002. It was the first live show I ever attended.
I bought the tickets back in June. At this time, all these superstars were on the roster: Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Hulk Hogan, & Shawn Michaels.
SCSA would leave in mid-June after not wanting to job out to Brock Lesnar Hulk Hogan leaves in August after deciding he only wants to make year appearances, after he gets kayfabe injured by Lesnar. The Rock would leave after SummerSlam after losing to Lesnar, to film a new movie (I wasn't too thrilled, I thought Scorpion King sucked) HBK also left for a month after SummerSlam after getting kayfabe injured by HHH
By the time Unforgiven 2002 rolled around in September, most of my favorite superstars I wanted to see were gone. I was also 12 years old so my mom came with me to the PPV and I had to witness the entire Hot Lesbian Action angle right next to her. That's just great.
And then a lame main-event finish. Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar ended in a double disqualification. Everyone is the arena was pissed.
