Anybody else get annoyed when Cole, JBL, and Lawler were acting surprised that Sheamus was coming out to cash in? I mean dudes been saying that he was probably going to cash in that night for weeks, why are they surprised?

I presume that they don't watch the show. Even while they're working on it.

I get a little annoyed by every cash in when the ref always acts befuddled as to what's happening. EVERY time.
"What's this briefcase sir? You want to do what now?"

It would be pretty funny if wrestling commentators just spoke realistically like a viewer.
"Roman Reigns will be facing Kane tonight. If you've been watching lately you've probably seen this match several times. So if you've got some laundry to do I doubt you'll miss anything."
"Cena is very strong. He shouldn't have any problem picking Big Show up for the AA. In fact he's done it many times now as I'm sure you've seen."
"That superplex looks like it hurts but it's not going to get the pinfall. It'll be a 2 count at best. Yeah, see he kicked out. Why is Orton surprised? They always kick out."
"I've definitely seen the Undertaker manhandled like this before."

I was going to post the exact same thing. I get that they want to make sure that there's no 'official' match so they can try and artificially create drama while not actually doing the cash-in; but it's just so tedious. Particularly since we get several months of this. Where the ref has to look all awkward, like he's never even been aware of MITB.

Cole was literally screaming.
It was disgusting. Okay we know what's going or not going to happen.
It's been the same deal since 2006.

They just nod and gesture like a loon instead of calmly explaining themselves.

Another thing I don't get is why doesn't the briefcase holder come down with his own ref ala Hardcore Championship matches?

This is the case that hit Roman Reigns at that one house show! You are so going on ebay! Reigns: "Dat's not cool, baby gurl." Sheamus: "Oy! Fella! Let me cash that in already!" Kane: "Hi guys!" Everyone else: "...." Kane: "*Cena Sad Face*"

I also get annoyed when it looks like the ref is refusing to start a match (for a heel) or is just telling them no a few times, shaking their head, before obviously eventually caving in. I mean...the guy earned the shot to cash in any time. If he wants to drag you out of bed at 3 am to crash the champ's hotel room and pin him while asleep, Crash Holly/24-7 style, they can do that, no?

I get a little annoyed by every cash in when the ref always acts befuddled as to what's happening. EVERY time. "What's this briefcase sir? You want to do what now?" The ref isn't acting befuddled. He's refusing to let someone cash in on a downed opponent. They made a stupid rule a couple years ago that the opponent has to be standing up for you to cash in. That's why the ref is always shaking their head "no" when someone tries to cash in on a downed opponent. And they're trying to stick to it now, apparently. Of course, this is WWE, so they could go back on that at any time (and I think they went back on it for Seth when he cashed in).

i liked Sheamus going after Rollins after Kane chokeslammed him. normally when someone interferes, the guy cashing in will fade away in the background. nice touch there with Sheamus trying to get the title by any means.

It ends up just being a goofy pantomime like they're going 'Rabbit Season... Duck Season.."

They're trying to make it surprising so it's interesting for the viewer. It's still an entertainment show. Seriously, have we come to complaining about minor stuff like this?

It's not surprising though when they have the guy outright say earlier in the show that he's probably going to do it.
If you want it to be a real surprise, you don't mention it for awhile.

Yes ugh. It reminds me of 2004ish where Cole would be baffled of every new guy on Smackdown.
"WHO IS THIS MAN?" It's Booker T.
