I do have to say that, while he could have had more tact in how he put it out there, I sort of agree with him not caring about giving moves names. That whole thing played out when everyone starting taking the already strange and somewhat nonsensical Puro move names and going full boar with it. Once we got to the Ultra Exploding Twin-Spin Rolling Battle Curtsy 1.0* that is nothing more than a leg sweep, it just got...dumb. *random made-up example. That's hold 893 on Jericho's list. But really my favorite rename of a move is from the Kudome Valentine to thw Vertabreaker.

Well, first he nicked his spear and now he's inferring he's a nerd.
If Edge wasn't rather proud of being a bit nerdy or if he even cared about wrestling anymore he'd be coming for you Roman Reigns!

Roman's been doing better promos lately, seeming cool, charismatic, and then goes and sound like a "trying to be cool" jock again with stuff like this. Sometimes I wonder who really did script his suffering succotash stuff.
Also, gimmicked names quite often work way better than the "real name". I mean which sounds "nerdier" to you, Diamond Cutter, or three-quarter-facelock-bulldog? Neutraliser, or leg-cradle-belly-to-back-facebuster?

"I didn't do things just to do them. You talk like I'm gonna jump up and grind my feet into Eddie Murphy's couch like it's something to do? I got more sense than that.
Yeah, I remember grinding my feet into Eddie Murphy's couch."

I'm not even a Reigns hater, but ugh, the whole "LOL NERDS AMIRITE?" makes him come off like an obnoxious, dudebro frat boy.

After Danny Doring, move-naming should've ended forever, because there's no topping the G-Spot Sweep or the Lancaster Lariat of Lust.

Was it called a Superman punch before he started using it?
I never heard it before. In fact, I never saw anyone using it before him.
Does Superman jump up and punch people?
I thought he just carried them into prison and left them there.

I thought he just carried them into prison and left them there. Pretty sure it was used in mixed martial arts prior to this, and that was always the name. A few wrestlers have used it, but not as a signature. Kofi I am pretty sure is one, and there was some cruiserweight who used to use it a lot.

Roman often comes across poorly in interviews and makes himself look a bit of a prick. I think that's kind of why I still don't like him.

It's from Muay Thai and the set up you kick the guy repeatedly, then you fake the kick and come over with a punch. I'm not saying it doesn't look cool when Reigns does it but there is no psychology in it I guess

What he's doing isn't a superman punch. He's just jumping and throwing a punch. www.youtube.com/watch?v=SrxEe0HxtycFor those that don't get it (and I know you personally do)
