My dog, because he is a master robber, just ate 1 pound of apple pancake batter. And he's totally fine. Other things he's eaten in the past (with various degrees of indigestion/poop and NO illness): - 1/2 pound of fudge
- a bowl of jello
- a box of Capn Crunch
- 3 bowls of dog food (only one his, he stole from his visiting "cousins")
- a whole potato
- a stick of butter
- numerous bags of unattended chip
And for some reason, he doesn't get sick. Ever. I so much as look at milk and I get a reaction. What kind of food has your dog gotten?

He ate a whole bowl of Snickers and Milky Ways for Halloween and the only trouble he had was the stuff getting stuck on the roof of his mouth.

I have a story on this one.
One time we went to Gatlinburg and left the dog at home. He's a Lab/Pointer mix. We picked up four pounds of fudge in Gatlinburg, and we were going to use it as gifts for people that watched the house while we were gone. We have the fudge out in the kitchen, and then we notice that Rosco is nowhere to be seen. He had gone back to the bedroom and pulled the sheets and blankets off the bed. We go back there, shoo him out of the room, and scratch our heads for a second while we put the bed back together. We go back to the kitchen, and the dog has eaten at least two pounds of fudge, and managed to steer clear of the really chocolaty kind that would probably cause him problems. So not only did he know how to divert our attention, he knew which fudge to eat and which to avoid. Evil genius!
He also ate 7 glazed donuts in one sitting while we were away for like 10 minutes. I don't know many humans that can do that, let alone a dog.

My cat ate McDonald's fries before. She turns her nose at any other French Fry.

I get surprised when my dog eats dog food. Watermelon is his favorite but the funny thing about him is he won't eat hardly anything until he sees you eating it. We grilled out hotdogs and burgers for 4th of July and one fell to the ground and the dog turned it down until I pretended to eat it.

my friends dog ate half of a communion cake. Literally half of it... like if it was cut in half with a knife... it was apparently that precise

My cat ate McDonald's fries before. She turns her nose at any other French Fry. I think kitties like carbs. I had two cats that loved chips and would crawl up in your bags to find them. We had a cock-a-poo that wouldn't eat certain foods unless we threw them away. Worst of all, he wasn't a stray that was use to scrabbling for scraps.

In high school a friend's dog ate one of those knee high athletic socks. We didn't know until it was hanging out it's ass.
His mom washed the sock and you couldn't tell anything ever happened to it.
