TNA's saying that the tour had to be pushed back due to safety concerns following the Paris attacks. Also: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, Bullshit. My favorite part of the article is the claim that "50-60 wrestlers and staff" would supposedly be part of the tour. As if TNA has that many on staff!

They probably will be, they were for the last cancelled tour. Granted, the word on that was that TNA claimed they'd pay them in full then paid them well below what they were supposed to.

Let's see how Dick Ryder and Dixie spin this Dixie: "Uh oh...Spaghetti O's!" Ryder: *stops licking Manik's toes* "What's wrong, Master Dixie?!?!" Dixie: "We're leaving for the India tour tomorrow and I found out we don't have enough money to send everything over to India to tape TV and do the tour! Not to mention ticket sales haven't been good" Ryder: "NNNOOOO! What are we going to do? " Dixie: "I don't know! Do you have any suggestions??" Ryder: "Well, there was a threat of terrorist attacks at the Survivor Series over the weekend. Plus, the whole Paris terrorist attacks the other week. How about we take advantage of that and tell everyone that there have been threats of terrorists attacks towards our company overseas and we have to cancel the tour? I mean not only will people feel sorry for our company, they will think our company is a big deal if terrorists want to attack us!" Dixie: "AWESOME! That's why I pay you in twinks and Twinkees!"

Someone needs to change the thread title to something like, "Put to rest SheraMania because TNA isn't going to India."

And as expected, talent are ticked off with the announcement and are now scrambling trying to find dates and jobs to work, over fifty to sixty talent and crew members were to fly over.
It wouldn't surprise me if talent finally say screw it and go somewhere else. If I'm Roode, I'm calling and begging Storm.

Pro: The TNA talent, like in WWE, are provided with their airline tickets, so money lost on airfare to India is TNA and/or Sony Six's problems, not the wrestlers and TNA staff.
Huge cons: The might not get payoffs from TNA since the shows aren't happening, and it's likely too late to get work in the U.S. for Friday and Saturday now that they won't need the weekend open to travel to the TNA bookings.

Unintended Pro: By not having to travel, and therefore be forced to consume food and water that their bodies can't handle, most of the roster have been spared from potential diseases and infections. So, for once, LOLTNA actually resulted in something good, because Lord knows TNA wouldn't have paid for their medical bills.

There is no reason why I would fault each and every one of the talent and production team for no-showing the first live Pop show. TNA management deserves nothing less. But more than likely they're contracted by TNA and they'd sue them to the Stone Age, so that's probably not going to happen. But it should.

Unless they had absolutely nowhere else to go, anyone on TNA's payroll should abandon ship as soon as they can.
And if they have nowhere else to go, those individuals should consider hanging it up. Love for the business is one thing, job security and a steady paycheck is another. Personally, I'd choose the latter.
edit-- When was the last time they actually worked? The mega-tapings at the end of July? Since then they've only worked one date, BFG, for nearly half of the year.

Postponed = Never happening
Safety issues = Lack of ticket sales.

Safety issues?
Not buying it considering WWE just got back from a European tour during which the Paris attack happened. They didn't cancel or postpone any events.

A shame, considering apparently Sony Six handled the tickets and it was doing well for them.
...of course, in India they translate the show as top drama "पुनर्जन्म को महाबली शेरा रोड" and make the show all about the travails of Mahabali Shera, a formerly evil wrestler but good-hearted man trying desperately to atone for his mistakes in life in the hopes of being reincarnated as a person who does not have to work for TNA...but still.
The wrestling may be bad, but if you didn't get a tear in your eye when Shera finally destroyed James Storm, a man so destroyed by his time in perdition he lost sight of himself, and helped the man get reincarnated to make his debut in NXT...

This is the worst day, in Mahabli Shera's life.

You would think that the final straws had been already pulled a long time ago I guess that with the tour, that was the dangling carrot they could string people along with. Stick with them just a little longer, weather the storm and get the tapings' pay and some international exposure, for whatever that'd really mean for them right now, but losing even that is snuffing out whatever hope they had of things improving any and of a decent payday, since if what Lizuka said earlier is correct, they've been paid for cancelled dates before, but at a fraction of what they were promised.

I just remembered. This is the second time TNA "postponed" shows due to logistics. Remember, TNA cancelled their Gulf Coast Halloween tour because of "logistics". I'm guessing "logistics" in TNA-speak means "no one is f***ing interested in our s***ty show". ... Correction; THIRD TIME. www.wrestlezone.com/news/609995-tna-cancels-bound-for-glory-tour-dateThis was one of the dates for their “Road to Bound for Glory” tour. " Logistics", again.

Wonder in particular how frustrated EC3 is right now, between him having to drop the belt entirely because they couldn't afford to tape anything after Bound For Glory and him going to India to plug this tour then getting sick from doing it. I were him I would be pissed right now.

I were him I would be pissed right now. He's probably growing out his Derrick Bateman hair as we speak. By the time it's grown back, TNA will probably be dead and he'd probably be free for another NXT run. (It'd also be enough time passed for him to be able to pass Wellness again... My understanding is that he's become a bit of a "Roidy Magoo" in TNA)

So, do SOny Six have any legal comeback over this tour being postponed? I would imagine it would make them less keen to work with TNA in future, which is really not what you want right now. I know they're citing the terrorist implications, but I believe that as much as I did for Wrestlemania IX.

Wow, things keep getting worst for TNA. At this point Baghdad Bob should become the spokesman for TNA, but I doubt even he could shill for them with a straight face.
