So, this is kind of weird... Looking a the HitC ad I catch of glimpse of Cenas face smooshed into the cage. I think "Christ he's goofy looking, that should look painful, but it looks like Ernest". Then it occurred to me that Cena does kinda look like a muscle-bound Ernest. Then I googled to see if anyone else thought that. Then....for the second time in a week a google search lead me to a thread from 2006 on this board ( officialfan.proboards.com/thread/28848)

And they both are characters that mostly appeal to young children.
You know, WWE's missing the boat by not having their movie studio produce a line of cheaply made Cena character themed movies. I can see it now... "Cena Goes to Spooky Swamp"- Cena celebrates Halloween down on the Bayou, with The Wyatts as the creepily comedic antagonists "Touchdown Cena"- Cena returns home and proves he's a bigger Patriots fan than Steph by having to lead the team to the SuperBowl after he accidentally injures Brady "Cena in the Indies"- Vince tells Cena that the only way he will be allowed to break Flair's record is if he goes to back to the independent scene and completes his most improbable feat to date: getting cheered by the smark internet crowd "Cena Battles Bulgaria"- John Cena, U.S.M.C, is mistakenly transported to Bulgaria and gets taken prisoner by a hilariously inept dictator, portrayed by Rusev. Hijinks ensue!
If he starts cutting serious promos about how Vern had a nice speech, then we'll really know there's something to this.

.......I'm not even kidding: if Jim Varney was still alive, WWE Films would ABSOLUTELY be making Ernest movies and Cena would've been in one.

My life will not be complete until John Cena says the words "Hey, Vern!" on TV...
