I just finished Season 3 for the first time. I have to say, I really liked it. Not as much as season 2, but, I still liked it a lot. I thought Ra's al Ghul was a great villain for the show. He had a real presence to him, I thought, and while he probably had the least amount of screen time of the four Big Bads the show has had, he really didn't need a whole lot. They set him up very well in season two, and he was used just as well here. He didn't need to show up in just about every episode. Before watching this, I was under the impression Roy actually died, so I'm glad that wasn't the case. Would like for him to come back. Still think there i a lot of mileage left in the character. Maybe the pseudo Flashpoint thing Flash's finale set up would allow for something like that to happen. Honestly, my biggest source of annoyance with Season 3 is how nobody seemed to agree on how Ra's al Ghul was supposed to be pronounced. I haven't went back to watch season 3 yet, but I think it might be one of those cases where watching the entire thing will make it a lot better than watching as it happens weekly. There was plenty of good stuff to be had, but it felt wayyyyyyy too miserable and plodding compared to what The Flash was doing. Also, it's funny you mention Ra's al Ghul's pronunciation because I feel the same way in general towards the character. I hated how it was pronounced "Ra's" in The Dark Knight trilogy yet in Arkham City, the "a" was emphasized. Like, pick one.

I think when it came to how it was pronounced in Arrow, pronouncing it "Ros" was supposed to be the "Westernized" way of saying it while "Raysh" was the way it was pronounced in the League.

I do think being able to binge watch helps shows in general, and are probably the ideal way they should be watched, but the TV landscape isn't changing that fast. I should also add that the flashback story was the first one I really felt invested in. I really cared about the plotline about stopping the Alpha Omega Bioweapon, and was actually a little surprised they killed Akio. And as you were saying about the pronunciation of Ra's, from what I understand, the creator of character said it is supposed to pronounced as "Ray-sh" al Gul, the way Ra's himself, Nyssa, Malcolm (when talking to Ra's and Nyssa)and the latter Batman animated movies, and not Ra's, the way it looks when written, the way every other character (and Malcolm, when talking to every other character) and the earlier Batman cartoons and movies did.

Another thing I forgot to bring up. Either Season three did not have an opening narration, or Netflix simply cut them out, which is weird, because Seasons One and Two still had them on Netflix.
