A bit late to comment but I would give the FS crowd all the credit in the world for keeping their word holes shut when Cody was speaking at the presentation. All it takes is one beered up idiot to yell out to ruin the whole thing and I'm sure that would have happened if the presentation had taken place in a bigger venue.

If I'm paying to watch something the company and the wrestler is disrespecting ME by putting on something unentertaining. This sentence really sums up what I dislike about some wrestling fans. WWE is a world wide company. So YOU might not be the target audience for certain angles, gimmicks, and even wrestlers. I think in general it's slightly a myopic viewpoint to basically hi jack a portion of the show to get your voice heard about a specific aspect you might not enjoy. If it's really that bad don't come to the show, enough people do that they will make changes. I can tell the difference between "not the target audience" and "virtually everyone doesn't like this". For example when people are consistently sitting on their hands anytime x wrestler does something, whoever the target audience is is apparently not watching WWE. "not the target audience" would be me and like...Randy Orton. I hate Randy Orton. I can clearly tell a lot of people like him though in the crowd, he usually gets a good reaction. I'm not going to start an "Orton sucks" chant to try to drown them out. The NXT crowd doesn't do that either.

I've never been to any live wrestling event in my 30 years of being a fan, but I imagine if I get to, I'd get sucked into the fun and thrill of it all and chant too. I picture the people who've been complaining about crowds lately going to shows and looking like this...

They chanted Fire Corbin?
Isn't the whole point of nxt so that workers like Cornin can develop and improve?
Edit. Read the full thread, they didn't chant that. Ignore my post.

I always ignore the crowd and focus on the action in the ring. Why can't others do the same? Because the crowd has a huge effect on how good a match is. Even The Rock said that if you muted his match with Hogan that match is dog dicks, but with the crowd noise it's something else.

New day, John Cena, and Roman Regins all had/have large sections of people who were cheering them, but some wrestling fans took it upon them selves to boo them.

They seem to enjoy chanting more than the actual show sometimes.
I'm waiting for a "WE LIKE CHANTING" chant to start up.
