Put him on Smackdown to keep him clear of Triple H, there was no way he was looking good at a time Triple H wasn't letting anyone look good.

Didn't watch RAW at that point (WM19-20) because of the big HHH boreshow so I can't describe it properly, but it always seemed that he was very protected and superhard to beat anyway (who beat him except HHH?), comedy skits or not...his booking didn't seem too bad, but I believe the HHH feud went on too long, Jericho feud was rather generic and Brock feud was too little too late

Someone could have taught Goldberg how not to suck.

I like Goldberg but dude is a massive mark for himself. He went over Rock clean in his first match and single handily ran through Evolution for months. Guy was booked fine.

1. No Goldust wig 2. Shorter match with The Rock. 3. Pull the trigger at the Elimination Chamber. I understand the slow-burn and getting heat, but they should have struck while the iron was hot with Goldberg. Watch that match back and tell me the fans weren't going crazy for him. They kind of killed his heat.

Using his WCW theme would have been a good start.

Goldberg run was no where near as bad as sometimes it is perceived. However, another year could of been good for him. Definitely especially as they needed the star power post Wrestlemania 20. I didn't think his run was bad outside of the aforementioned Summerslam match.

While the wig segment wasn't great, it would've been better if he whooped Goldust for it. That, and have him win at Summerslam.

He should have been louder and have access to a time machine.

I can almost see the logic in Hunter not losing in the Elimination Chamber, considering he was on his big NWA-revival kick and dropping it one-on-one seems fitting, but, yeah, that Summerslam loss just robbed the act of a lot of wind.

Recreate the streak (to an extent). I'd have kept him undefeated for most of the year, beating jobbers on the house shows (just so people could get to see him) while building solid feuds on the televised shows. Have him win the belt in the Elimination Chamber, holding it for a little while then drop it via shenanigans. Have him win the Rumble then challenge the Dead Man in order to win the respect of the most revered member of the WWE roster.
Taker beats him, gives him the smallest nod of respect afterwards. If Goldberg still leaves, it's alright. If he stays, you've still got plenty to work with.
