Logically Cena'd lose the US title tonight to pay off this whole open challenge thing before he goes and to set up a rematch for Sunday he also loses. But that's the logical thing so... "The US Title needs to go. It's planet needs it.... I must go too." Honestly that's what should happen. There's no point in having both the US and IC Titles when they are kayfabe on the same level. Cena could do this same schtick with the IC Title.

Does anyone else not give a shit about Michaels and Flair being there? I'll be tuning in to see how good of a dancer Rusev is.

Ratings might take a serious beating, as Raw compete with ALCS Game 3 and Monday Night Football tonight. Plus there's fact that the latter will have the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer airing during halftime. I think they're banking on these big names coming back and popping the rating so it will be interesting if they do take the usual beating, might finally convince them that bringing back old guys to stimulate interest isn't going to cut it anymore. It will take far more than one show with Legends to bomb in the ratings to convince WWE that bringing in the old guard won't always work. Heck, we don't even know that it won't work for tonight. Every show featuring the Legends have picked up at some point.

This isn't Rusev dating Lana. This is Miroslav Barnyashev engaged to C.J. Perry and getting BURIED for it. Now hit the music and watch me bust a move...

I hope they use HBK for the final build to the Rollins/Kane match. Lord knows that thing needs some help, and there's definitely connections there. HBK wrestled the first Hell in a Cell match, which saw Kane debut, and HBK was the little guy outmatched by Taker. And of course, HBK's connection with Triple H. The ingredients are there for something interesting.

Seth/Kane is fine for the goofball storyline that it is, Brock/Undertaker is the money match that needs a slam dunk segment to really make the sell because it's been pretty quiet on that front lately. Since the feud started over the streak, and HBK is forever entwined in anything streak related, have HBK tell 'Taker he's being a bitch, and 'Taker kicks him in the genitals like he always does now.

I thought Taker and Brock were these huge draws, why do they need to bring in another legend help sell their match? It's the line of thinking that makes so much of the roster/card a drag and makes these legend apperances worthless.

It's the line of thinking that makes so much of the roster/card a drag and makes these legend apperances worthless. HBK and Kane don't really have a noteworthy history together that it would make much sense for Shawn to feel he needs to intervene. Shawn Michaels and Undertaker are pretty much synonymous with each other at this point. Last Undertaker/Brock match had that stellar pull apart brawl that pretty much sold the match in one shot, whether Brock/Undertaker are draws or not the match still needs a hook, which it doesn't have yet. To have Shawn pick at Undertaker's brain and maybe have him address his recent lack of honor in his dealings with Brock, or have him say nothing and give Shawn the ol' dick kick to really cement that this is the way Undertaker handles problems now I just find more interesting than to see Shawn try and wrangle Seth/Kane into something decent. I agree with you that WWE could stand to use their legends more generously on most occasions but in this particular instance I don't mind throwing Shawn into the main event angle because his history with Undertaker is too rich, I like Shawn most when he's involved in something character heavy and nothing going on right now else fits the bill. If they put him in with the Kane angle he's just gonna do something goofy and throwaway.

Skipped Raw last week, and the past three days or so I've been using every time I get bored as an excuse to go play Twilight Princess. Anyone wanna place bets on the odds I say f*** it mid-show and go do the Temple of Time instead?

Eh, I figure at least between having the only bit of build they're bothering with for Taker / Lesnar and Cena potentially losing the US title tonight miiiight wind up worth seeing. Though could live without yet another segment where they bring out Flair to make sure Charlotte doesn't accidentally develop her own personality.

Though could live without yet another segment where they bring out Flair to make sure Charlotte doesn't accidentally develop her own personality. To be fair, that was a problem they had in NXT as well (after all, that was where she got the Ric Flair remix theme). She's definitely the least fleshed out of the "Four Horsewomen" personality-wise.
