is it just me or has ACH lost a lot of steam in the last year in terms of standing on the indies? Seems ever since he had his issues getting to Canada to face Lethal a few years back, his momentum has steadily gone down hill. Like I like ACH and think he's gonna be a big star, but he went from next break out star to very stagnant. This isn't a knock on ROH, but I do think he'd benefit from getting away from ROH and reinventing himself. It just seems like guys that were his peers on the indies have surpassed him.

is it just me or has ACH lost a lot of steam in the last year in terms of standing on the indies? Really? His best-of-7 series with Sydal was a focal point of the show. Perhaps with so much else going on with ROH it doesn't seem like as big a deal with all their talent influx, but he's still pretty prominently featured and gets great reactions.

I can agree that there was a short period where it felt like ACH was gonna take over the scene and that never really materialized. He's kind of in that Apollo Crews spot where he's really talented and his matches always really acrobatic and fun but there's not a lot of depth to him yet. His series of matches with Adam Page were pretty good too but his character always seems more reactionary than anything else and doesn't really have the same drive as a lot of the others around. I think it's alright though, they can keep him in the background having cool matches until they're ready to take a step in a new direction with him and I'm sure they'll get there. A feud with Cedric Alexander would be good, or Roderick Strong down the line.

I thought his ROH Title match with Jay Briscoe really proved that he can do a great underdog story and is a lot more than just the acrobatics. Outside of ROH I also think his classic match with Kyle O'Reilly in PWG also proved that. I love the guy but I definitely think he has lost a bit of momentum since last year

The psychology and limb work in that match is second to none. And ACH sells it for the entire match too, barring a few fighting spirit spots. Truly amazing work by both guys. Back on point though, while I agree he ain't just all flips he, sadly, still is very much all in-ring ability because there is no depth to his character whatsoever and that's something that needs to change before he can become bigger than just an athletic guy from the indies.

Referee Kevin Keenan, who used to work for WWE, was let go from ROH, supposedly following an incident where he inappropriately touched (spanked) a female talent.

The ROH employee who passed this along (understandably) did not mention who it was. Edit: Keenan admits that he did it to Mandy Leon.

Appalling defence by Keenan, claiming that what he did wasn't as bad as Delirious having a relationship with Leon. So he basically admitted he made advances on the booker's girlfriend. He deserved every bit of what he got.

I wouldn't believe a word Delirious says.
That's because I've never understood a word Delirious has said, but that's beside the point.

And it now much clearer about ROH's Women of Honor division & why certain women are getting booked.

I've found Alex Shelley's existence in ROH pretty weird. He was in a pretty big deal faction with Generation Next back in the day and since he came back with the Timesplitters up to now it just feels like he's some guy who just got there. The weight of his history in the company doesn't really shine through, he's a good talker but I don't think he's said a word since coming in. Not that you really have to shoehorn references to old history or anything but I just figured there'd be a bit more pomp and circumstance to his being here than there are.
