With the current product being stale and for the current stage it's pretty much been here since 2008 with small add one here and there. Not saying it would help the writing but it'd make a nice change of scenery.

I think spending money is the last thing they should do right now.

I think a more appropriate thread title would be '101 things WWE needs to do to improve the product before it changes the set'

I think spending money is the last thing they should do right now. The money for the new stage would have to come from somewhere, and that is not something I don't root for. Especially if those cuts result in people losing their jobs.

No, it's not.
Because that time was years ago.

Oh God yes they do. It's so stale and makes every show look identical. The shows look too clean and polished and need to looke edgier and dare I say more raw?

They really need to move away from 20 big panels of led screen makes our set, they actually did change it a bit a few years ago, but no one noticed because its just led screens still. Also unique sets for shows of course.

They could come out through a hole in a wall covered by a sheet, it still won't make the show any more or less entertaining.

They also need to stop with the bright lights on the crowds. I spent the whole show squiniting when I went to see Raw last and it doesn't look any better having the stupid red and blue lights on the crowd.

I miss it when PPV setups were pretty creative.

No. Every show must be indistinguishable so Raw feels like a 4 year long 6 man tag match.

Yes, but Vince has always thought that bigger and gaudier = better, so I'm not holding my breath that a new set would be a better set.

Speaking of production aspects and well, everything else, I find it funny how this company puts more into those types of things compared to their actual booking when better booking would be far cheaper. "Let's get turnbuckle cameras, that'll make the product better" "what about better booking?" "nah, turnbuckle cameras is where it's at".

I spent the whole show squiniting when I went to see Raw last and it doesn't look any better having the stupid red and blue lights on the crowd. Holy shit, on that note, the last time I went to see a WWE PPV (Extreme Rules 2013, I think), one of the entrances that night resulted in a bright light being shown directly in my eyes for a second and that shit hurt like nothing else because I wasn't expecting it. Ugh.

I'd much rather they just get more creative with the stage they have now. It doesn't help with 'generic' when even the special PPV designs are just different coloured bars. Giant screens can have literally anything on them and WWE doesn't use any imagination.
