I don't even think it's a bad thing necessarily, I just think it's funny how they're straight up going the X-men/Wolverine route with Bats.

I don't even think it's a bad thing necessarily, I just think it's funny how they're straight up going the X-men/Wolverine route with Bats. As forced as it may be, it's still a smart thing to do. Batman is easily the most popular character in their lineup. I just hope that once the other characters can stand on their own, they don't keep finding reasons to shove Batman into everything.

Oh I know; I totally get WHY they're doing it, I just found it comical.

Whenever Batman's not onscreen, all the other characters should be asking "Where's Batman?"

Hey you all remember how Iron Man showed up in Guardians of The Galaxy and everyone gushed over him? Or when he appeared to save Ant Man? Or took down The Kingpin in Daredevil single handily and looks to open up Hero for Hire?
No? Because it didn't happen.
Stark maybe the face of The MCU but he's not always shown and talked about like DC's hard on they have for Batman. There's plenty of others in DC they could use but they insist on him despite everyone being sick of him.

DC have no idea what they are doing.
In film at least.
Seem to be doing OK with TV.

If Warner Bros. doesn't think the likes of Superman and Wonder Woman can stand on their own without Batman, they've got some problems.

I've always preferred DC over Marvel (Sorry Madison!), so I would really like to see DC succeed in creating a DC movie series to rival the MCU.....but I'm not optimistic at all, and its a damn shame.

I sometimes wonder if DC execs ever sit around asking each other why Batman is the only character they have that makes money for them. And then I imagine one guy raises his hand and says "Maybe it's because we've spent the last thirty years glorifying him to the point where all of our other heroes look ineffectual and unnecessary by comparison?"
And then everyone else laughs and tells him to go sit in the corner.
