Which Hell in a Cell match do you prefer between these two? 2002 has the benefit of both being younger and in better shape, but Taker and Lesnar post 2007 and 2012 respectively are whole different beasts in terms of experience and storytelling, etc.
Haven't seen the 2002 one in a while, gotta check it out.

No Mercy for me. The ups and downs and the brutality has made that a match which will always stick in my mind.
I enjoyed the match last night, but don't reckon it will have the same lasting impression.

There is no contest between the two. This one was better than I expected but the original is a classic.

The last one didn't have Lesnar being tombstoned onto thin air 2 feet above the ring, so that one

The original.
However the sequel was still far better than it had any right to be

I'd need to go back and watch the first one - but I really liked last night's match as an attempt to top it with how brutal it was. f*** at one point Brock was legit pummelling Taker in the face with his bare fists

Last nights was very good, far better than I thought it would be, but the No Mercy one is still a step above.

I don't know if it was intentional camera work, but when the camera tracked Brock immediately after that and all you could see was Taker's feet not moving, it genuinely looked for about ten seconds as though Brock had just knocked him clean out. You could sense the crowd were uncomfortable at this point too. Great spot
