Camp Nowhere definitely does not hold up. Now bear this in mind, prior to my most recent viewing of this film, I listened to the We Hate Movies podcast about it and I got a kick out of their take on it. When I watched it, I was able to see that this film really was not that good to begin with. Now Heavyweights, that movie holds up.

Maybe not 'regret', but as an adult I have re-watched a few movies that I saw as a child that remembered liking back then and realize now were terrible. I finally watched the Blu-ray version of "At the Earth's Core" that I picked up a few months ago... my inner child still liked it but it is not good.

Man of Steel seems to get worse and worse every time I watch it.

Monster Squad. I bought it on DVD a while back due to me liking it as a kid, but watching it now it's really pretty crappy.

I still like "Rat Race", but generally prefer "It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World"; the movie that it was inspired by.
As for movies that don't hold up? "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective".
And almost any movie starring Adam Sandler that I enjoyed as a teenager seems to suck now. Including "Happy Gilmore".

I vaguely vaguely remember tolerating Waterboy at a first screening. It's unwatchable now. Maybe the worst comedy ever made. Maybe.
I have several examples. But someone just brought that movie up on Page 1, so I figured I'd just back that comment up.

Yeah. This. It's hard to go back and judge a lot of movies from when you were a kid, so I normally don't. But I was a grown man laughing my ass off at Borat. The second time? Crickets. I'd say the most recent example might be American Hustle. By no means is it a bad movie, but I remember thinking I wanted it to win Best Picture and honestly...it's just not that good.

Most Kevin Smith movies don't tend to be as good as I remembered them. Still miles above Tusk, which was just flat out bad. Red State wasn't anything great either.
