For those who have attended a house show during the holidays, how was the crowd turnout? I'm thinking of going to a show on December 30th and wanted to see if the WWE packs arenas for these holiday tours. Kinda skeptical about how big the crowd will be though.

I was at one last year. For a house show, the crowd was pretty good--enough to fill the floor and the lower seating bowl. The upper deck was largely curtained off, but a small section remained open and fans were sitting there. The show included one of Roman Reigns's first matches back after his hernia surgery, so that may have drawn some interest.
House shows are a lot of fun to attend. With no cameras in the arena, the wrestlers tend to be more interactive with the fans. And you get a few hours of solid, in-ring action without silly guest-host segments or 20-minute promos. You may even get to see an NXT star or two in person--Tyler Breeze and Sasha Banks wrestled at the show I attended.

My first ever WWF show was a Boxing Day show at Maple Leaf Gardens when I was nine in 1991.
I still distinctly remember it because we went for my cousin's birthday. My sister, who was seven at the time, demanded to be taken up further in the seats (we were on the floor) because she was terrified of The Undertaker.
Main event was 'Taker/Jake Roberts vs. Randy Savage/Jim Duggan.

I went to a house show the day after Christmas in Pittsburgh in 2011. Main evented by Punk/Miz for the belt in a cage. Packed house.

My first ever live event was a Holiday Tour Show at MSG in December 2012
I remember the main event was Ziggler with Big E & AJ against Cena in a steel cage. I remember they worked almost the exact same match about a week later in that infamous steel cage match on the first Raw of 2013 where Ziggler threw the kitchen sink (literally) at Cena and still lost.
It was a really cool experience not only being at MSG for the first time but watching wrestling live for the first time.
It didn't disappoint either. It had a priceless moment of Tensai singing Christmas songs, yes Tensai. And a great 6-man tag of Team Hell No & Miz vs. The Shield, who made their MSG debut that night.
Was a bit disappointed because the scheduled main event was suppose to be Punk vs Ryback in a steel cage, but that was the time Punk had his knee injured. But great experience overall for a holiday house show.

Thank you for the responses! Cena returning and Ambrose/Owens should bring in a hot crowd.
