I think the long tights were pretty much the end.
Some guys look good with them, some don't. He definitely is the latter more than the former and he looks so much less of a star now than how he did even just about four or five months back. Nevermind it doesn't tend to end well for guys that maintain the same character and make the switch back to long tights in Vince McMahon's world.

Ziggler looks fine with the tights. It's the long hair that's ruining his look.

Why does everyone have to be a main eventer? You can enjoy guys who do stuff in the midcard. He has enough main event cred to be credible in the midcard for here on out.

It's wrestling, a few weeks of good storytelling and performances can get ANYONE on the right track, regardless of their status beforehand.

Maybe they ought to give that large tally-whacker gimmick another thought?

There would be room for him in the main event if WWE didn't feel compelled to drag feuds out for months on end I enjoy a lot of midcard level acts. But one thing that has bothered me a lot over the years is that the "midcard guys with main event cred" tend to stick out like a sore thumb. They feel more like "low level main eventers" than a proper midcard and it gives off the impression that the midcard is almost non-existent aside from whoever is jobbing to Del Rio that week.
