I really wish Vince would leave his political views outside of WWE. Politics are so divisive, and every time he uses WWE as a platform to give his two cents, he risks alienating half of his US audience, and even more of his international audience. For a company that loves to boast about their broad appeal among demographics, taking a political stance is very, very stupid business. when has he ever stated his political stance on tv? Did you miss him bankrolling his wife's Senatorial race, and totally-not using the Stand Up for WWE campaign as advertisement?

when has he ever stated his political stance on tv? He hasn't literally said "I'm a (party here)". But, things like the walkout angle and now this MexAmerica thing make it darn obvious. Hopefully he drops this MexAmerica crap... its killing Del Rio 's momentum

I think Vince would vote for whoever had the biggest muscles. I can well imagine someone at a political convention taking off his suit jacket, shirt and tie to reveal a Gary Strydom physique underneath and doing some poses, and Vince getting aroused like in THAT gif, and then taking out his chequebook and saying "how much can I contribute??? A million? Two million? Three million? ? OHHHHHHHHHHHHH MYYYYYYYYYY GOOOOOOOOOOODNESS!!!!!!"

"MexAmerica" really doesn't roll of the tongue very well does it?
Americo I think works better. Or Amexica.

Let's not forget them jumping onto the ant-French bandwagon with that horrid Steiner/Nowinski debate and La Resistance.

I've convinced that was really an anti-Scott Steiner segment, and WWE booked him in it solely to ensure he'd get slaughtered publically.

If I remember correctly, Linda used her personal money for her campaign, not company money. And Stand Up for WWE was less about getting votes for Linda and more about getting Linda's opponents to keep WWE's name out of their mouths (WWE was largely irrelevant to Linda by that point since she was no longer employed there). Hell the final straw that made WWE fire Abraham Washington was because he posted "Vote for Linda" on Twitter.

I didn't want to start a thread because I love our mods, but I was thinking Linda gets a nod as a potential VP running mate after Trump got heat for some of his remarks about certain journalists and opponents. Which would definitely make Vince kiss his but publicly. God save the mods here if anything like these scenarios happens.

If they pay that racist dickass any more money I'm actually never watching again. He isn't a racist. Grow up. Still waiting to hear the real reason you don't want your daughter dating Stack$.

I wasn't referring to company money at all, I was referring to the McMahon's fortune acquired via their ownership of WWE. And I'm standing on shaky ground, but the Stand Up campaign was very similar to ways other organizations are able to advocate politically while keeping tax status.

Remember the anti-French stance morphing by September to The Rock challenging La Resistance with "Do you really think if the French Army was in Iraq that THEY would have found weapons of mass destruction?" That was a weird spin.
