If I could be serious for a minute (#lancestorm),
I currently run a audio cast through Rabble (and I won't plug it here, not appropriate), and on November 21, before my Survivor Series preview rundown, I plan on doing a live Rabblecast countdown of the 25 Most Memorable Moments, Matches, and/or Angles involving the Undertaker in celebration of his 25th anniversary.
The thing is that a list compiled by one person is boring and bias, so thanks to the permission of the mods, I want to use you guys, the members of the FAN community as one of the avenues I pursue to compile those 25 moments.
So in this thread, I want you to leave any memorable moments involving the Undertaker that we've witnessed over the passed 25 years. You can leave as many as you like, or as few as you like. Your list doesn't have to be in any particular order, just a list. When I compile them, their popularity will play the majority factor in their place on my top 25 countdown (If many choose the same moment, it would definitely rank higher than a moment only one person finds memorable).
I have a few guidelines:
1. No moments that nobody else could have experienced will be tossed away (an example would be meeting the Undertaker at an autograph signing, or taking a picture with him because you spotted him at the same restaurant you're dining at, and how he was a nice guy). These moments should be ones we all could have been witness to from 1990-2015
2. If you happen to dislike the Undertaker, you can choose to list some of his more sillier moments, but no direct or personal hate which leads to:
3. As a wrestling fan, and Undertaker fan, in a few sentences, explain why the moment is meaningful to you. Here is where I may make an exception for personal reasons. Maybe the moment was a bonding session with a family member. I won't broadcast any of that information if the situation applies; I'll play it by ear. You don't have to write a novel, but if it is memorable to you, you should know why it is to you otherwise you're just picking randomly. Any reason that states "I like it just because I like it" will likely be ignored, printed out, shredded, bundled into a ball, upon where I will promptly toss it at the mini basketball hoop above my trash bin, but just slight miss when it bounces off the rim.
4. I am already going to give credit to the FAN as a whole but if your moments make the list, I'd like to give individual credit, so you should leave how you would want to credited as in your post. If you decide to use your whole name (which I think I'll advise against putting in the post), you should PM me with it instead.
5. By moment, I mean to also include matches, angles, and interviews. If your moment doesn't involve The Undertaker, it isn't being considered, even via proxy (moments featuring Kane because he's Taker's brother)
I think I've covered everything I wanted to. If you want to know when and where the specifics of the show are, check my thread The Shoot w/ Scooterdust in the W(rest) of Wrestling section. I'll be checking the thread frequently, and will answer any questions you may have. So best of luck and I look forward to your moments
